Art with Heart Team Creative Showcase - Sketch

Welcome to the Monthly Art with Heart Creative Showcase.  This month the Art with Heart team have amazing projects to share with you that have been inspired by the card sketch to the right.  The sketch is to be used as a starting point and has been interpreted in many creative ways the the Art with Heart team.

I have chosen to use some of my lovely Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper to create a very quick and easy card.  I have used a piece Best Dressed Designer Series Paper as my background as it went so well and then teamed it with a couple of different size banners and then punched out starburst in Whisper White and then added the large magnolia which I had carefully fussy cut out.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC270 Flourish Dies

This week we are CASEing the Catty is the first week of CASEing your favourite retiring punch or die.  I have chosen to feature the Flourish Dies which have been a go to set with the matching Flourishing Phrases stamp set (unfortunately the stamp set has already sold out).

I have made the decorated box pictured on the left into a card using the beautiful Old Olive and Whisper White Designer Series Paper from the retiring Magnolia Lane Suite as my background.

I have layered lots of die cut flourishes in the Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White with the leaves cut using the Leaf punch (which is also retiring and I will miss a lot).  I have finished it off with a flourish in Soft Sea Foam and some trim, sequins and the white embossed sentiment.

My card that I have cased is on the left, I have chosen to mount the Whisper White cardstock onto Petal Pink and then stamped the balloons in Mint Macaroon and Petal Pink.  The clouds are stamped off one and twice to give a puffy effect of different shades of Seaside Spray.

I love the attention to detail with the clear sequins on one balloon and a baker's twine bow on the other one.
