I today completed the UStamp Stationery Purse after completing the cards over a couple of evenings after work. I have made a few items now but have forgot to put them on here as I upload them to show the other participates. They also offered a swap so I can't wait to receive mine in the post hopefully sometime this week coming. (My swap partner is Kim from the United States.) I have really loved chatting and leaving messages for stamping friends all around the world. Well back to the project..

Christmas is Coming - Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #10

It's been a wet and dark day in Woodside (in the Adelaide Hills for those of you from interstate or overseas) but the rain has been so welcome as we have been in draught for the last three years. Finally I have completed this card as I had planned to start it alot earlier in the day but my dad came to visit and then my good friend Lynette popped in so it took alot longer than I anticipated. I decided to make my first Christmas card for 2009 as time is ticking away and it will not be long and Christmas will be on our door. Thanks Keesha for the sketch challenge this week and hopefully I will get to make another creation tomorrow.

Inspirations Challenge #9

I finally was able to use my aqua painter on Makeesh Byl's Inspirations Challenge, I think my colouring turned out well (with the image white embossed and then coloured with purely pomegranate reinker), however the colour does change and does not really match my the purely pomegrante background and ribbon.

Stamp Set: Fifth Avenue Flower
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Purely Pomegranate
Card: Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Holiday Harmony Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon, White Embossing Powder
