I did fill mine with Easter Eggs and put a cute Bow Paper Clip Embellishment on top and it was ready for giving.

Easter Egg Card ... Work of Art

One of my downlines, Caroline Nicholls dropped this Easter Card at my back door on Thursday and it was a lovely surprise.

It uses the very versatile Work of Art stamp set, who would have thought it would be used with an Easter theme.

Long Thin Easter Egg Box

I have a very special friend who has a very kind heart and also is one of my Stampin' Up! Class Attendees and former downline, Tanya Partington and she kindly gave me this oh so cute Long Thin Easter Egg Box made from designer series paper.

A close up of the window to view the little Easter Eggs.

Tanya's Egg Box is a shorter version of the very talented Pootles, Sam Hammond.  I am always inspired by Pootles and her many video tutorials of all things bags and boxes.

#imbringingbirthdaysback ... it's Here in Australia!

IT'S HERE IN AUSTRALIA...YOU CAN ORDER NOW!

Have you heard?  Shannon West, Stampin' Up!'s Training Manager, is bringing birthdays back with her own #imbringingbirthdaysback movement.  (Read her story below).

You can join the movement too!  Offer to send your friends, family, neighbours, coworkers etc handmade birthday cards and tag them with the #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp (item 143573) and it's available now in wood mount only for $21.00.

Together, we can bring birthdays back!
To date I have given 13 birthday cards this year, so if you have not let me know your birth date let me know and you will receive one of my handcrafted cards.

LET'S ALL BRING BIRTHDAYS BACK

By Shannon West, Demonstrator Training Manager
It started one Saturday in January. I was kicking myself for not sending out my Christmas cards, but I also noticed that many friends had simply posted their Christmas cards on Facebook rather than sending them in the mail. For years I’ve complained about Facebook ruining birthday cards and now it would seem the same was happening to Christmas cards. A handmade, handwritten card in the mailbox seemed to be nearly extinct—and I was contributing to the problem! I wanted to do something drastic and immediate to stop this neglect and hold myself accountable.
So that Saturday in January, I made a decision: I posted on Facebook that I would send a birthday card to any of my friends that wanted one. I didn’t think about the possibilities or consequences…I just posted and was astonished when the responses started rolling in.
After 24 hours, I had over 300 responses…far more than I had ever received on a previous post. I started a spreadsheet to keep track and went to work making and sending birthday cards.
Two days later, I posted a photo of my first set of cards that I was sending. At this point, my posts started to be shared and others started posting that they were also sending cards to their friends. These results were an absolute surprise!
As my friends began receiving their cards, they posted photos of them on social media to thank me. This sparked another idea: there needed to be a way to easily see all the cards—my cards and others’ cards too—so that we could see all the different ideas to CASE (Copy And Share Everything). Playing on the lyrics of a Justin Timberlake song, the hashtag #imbringingbirthdaysback was born! I wanted to stamp it on each card so that the receiver would know to use the hashtag if they posted the card, so I carved my very own #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp.
As my spreadsheet of birthdays grew (it’s currently 1,327 names strong!), the sharing grew. There is something special about a birthday. It’s your special day—you get to dictate what happens that day and it’s yours to own and craft. And EVERYONE has one. It seems this unexpectedly played into the development of this movement. And it wasn’t difficult to sense the happiness and excitement that one feels when simply sending cards…that was a factor in the excitement that built around the movement too, of course.
After a few weeks, Sara approached me and asked how Stampin’ up! could support the movement—after all, making and sending cards is what Stampin’ Up! has always been focused on (Shelli still sends every single employee a birthday card each year!).  I also got to share my story on a local news program: Good Things Utah. (You can watch the host make a birthday card below.)

CASE-ing the Catty Sale-A-Bration Metallics Glitter Tape and Hello - #CTC70

Welcome to the Adelaide Cup Long Weekend here in South Australia and to the CASE-ing the Catty Sale-A-Bration feature #CTC70.  Do you know you have only 18 more days to take advance of the Sale-A-Bration products.

You may have come from Julia Quinn and wow I love her card using the Pedal Pusher two-step stamp set.

I am using the new Metallics Glitter Tape today in the three colours Gold, White and Silver (which was inspired by the example on the left).

Now you might be thinking there is a pink strip not white, well I have used my trusty sponge dauber with some Melon Mambo ink and dabbed it on and in a second you have glitter tape in any colour you would like.  I used my piecing mat to lay down the glitter tape and then just pealed it off as I don't have a silicone craft sheet.  I just used the Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner with a tissue and the ink just wiped off the piecing mat.

My butterfly is layered with vellum and sponge daubered around the edges with Melon Mambo.  The Melon Mambo decorative butterfly I have used the 2-way glue pen around the edges and then sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds glitter on and then set the card off with a few gold sequins from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit.

Stamp Set: Hello
Cardstock:  Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Vellum
Ink: Melon Mambo, Pool Party
Accessories: Metallics Glitter Tape, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Bold Butterfly Framelits, Butterflies Thinlits, 2-way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Gold Sequins

It's time to hop over to Rachel Palmieri and she has created a couple of cards also using the Metallics Glitter Tape but oh so different to my girly card.

If you have any problems hopping around please check out the crew's creations at CASE-ing the Catalogue.
