Stampin' Up! Annual Achievements

I received a couple of exciting emails this week from Stampin' Up! in preparation to attending Stampin' Up! Onstage on Saturday, 12 November at the Sydney Convention Centre.

I am so looking forward to catching up with all my friends and having a fun time creating the make 'n takes together with receiving the upcoming Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration brochure.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC392 Case a Sketch Framed Florets Bundle

CASEing the Catty this week is featuring a Sketch Challenge inspired by page 58 in the Annual Catalogue.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Monique Fielder.

I have chosen to use the Framed Florets Bundle which is available for purchase from the 1 November and will also be appearing in the upcoming January to June Mini Catalogue but as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator we can pre-purchase this Suite now.

I love the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper and this is only available for the month of November or until sold out!  It has so many gorgeous papers it's hard to cut into the DSP but I have decide that you must do this as you can always purchase another pack instead of keeping it for a special project and that project just never comes around.

I have layered the ovals together and then added a strip of Whisper White Organza Ribbon and some wonderful die cut leaves in Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Basic White and a then a matching Whisper White cute little bow.

Stamp Set:  Framed Florets
Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Basic White, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent
Ink:  Evening Evergreen
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Framed Florets Dies, Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by this week, now it's time to see what Sandra Collett has created.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC391 Case a Mini Catalogue Bundle Leaves of Holly Bundle

I have held Christmas Card classes over the last two days and I was inspired to do a card for this week's challenge, Case a Mini Catalogue Bundle from pages 72-79.

Welcome to the hop, are you may have come from Julia Quinn.

I have chosen to case the card from page 76 and have used the traditional Christmas colours of red, green and white on my card.

I have chosen a piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper in the shades of red - Cherry Cobbler and Real Red for my background, mounted on a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock.

I have then added the stamped leaves in Evening Evergreen and the die cut leaves in Old Olive and the berries and sentiment in Poppy Parade.  Finally I finished off the card with a Garden Green small bow and some Elegant Faceted Gems.

Stamp Set:  Leave of Holly
Ink:  Evening Evergreen, Poppy Parade

World Card Making Day - Kathryn's Blog Hop Amazing Silhouettes

To celebrate World Card Making Day, I decide to host a Blog Hop of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from All Around the World to share a card that they have made and then I have challenged them to post it within a week to someone special - as we sometimes forget to send them and they just gather in a box.

I have decided to ink up the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set for the first time.  This set is a reverse image to most stamps with the image being left in this case white with the surrounding area highlighted with ink.

This is a Faux Centre Step Card, I received the tutorial from South Australian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Diane Furniss.  I looks amazing but it really is not as complicated as it looks - it's just a few pieces of cardstock folded and glued together to make the structure of the card.

For my centre and side panels I used my sponge daubers direct to the rubber stamp in three shades of green - Parakeet Party, Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow.  Don't forget to "huff" the rubber stamp before putting the rubber to the Basic White cardstock to make it a little moist.  After adhering the stamped Basic White cardstock to the Parakeet Party, I added a sentiment and a few lovely Brushed Brass Butterflies.

Stamp Set:  Amazing Silhouettes
Cardstock:  Parakeet Party, Basic White
Ink:  Parakeet Party, Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Potted Succulents Dies, Sponge Daubers, Brushed Brass Butterflies

A back/side view of the card,
there is really only 2 pieces of cardstock that make up this fancy fold card.

Thanks for stopping by tonight, now it's time to see what Andrea Sargent from my team has made.
