My First Demonstration - Make and Take

I hosted my church's Girl's Night last evening to the theme of Christmas, therefore we did a Make and Take of four Christmas Cards. I had prepared for between 20 and 30 people but we only had about 15 as it's a very busy time of the year with lots of Christmas gatherings so we had quite a few apologies. I will have another one in the New Year on perhaps a Saturday afternoon for some ladies that were not able attend. I have had interest from a few girls to host parties in the New Year and a few orders were taken so it's all happening in my life as an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Here are the four Christmas Cards we completed, I tried to make them easy as there were some ladies that had not stamped before.

Makeesha Byl Inspiration Sketch Challenge #16

I returned from my Queensland holiday on Wednesday evening to my big Stampin' Up! Starter Kit box of goodies (unfortunately I did not received my additonal order, there seemed to be a mix up of my products and it was finally only sent on Thursday so fingers crossed that it arrives for my Girls Evening at my church were we will be creating 4 Christmas Cards for 30+ girls on Friday!). I am really hoping that this will be my last hiccup I have with Stampin' Up! as my start to being an independent demonstrator has not been smooth sailing. Within my order of stamp sets, I purchased Christ is Born ready for my Christmas Cards, I have really loved using it this afternoon with a few Christmas Cards created. I created this one for Keesha Inspirations Sketch Challenge.

UStamp Stair Step Fold Card

I did complete this on the weekend but have not had the time to post it on my blog, sorry life is just way to busy at work at the moment getting ready to go on holidays at the end of consulting tomorrow. This project was designed by the wonderfully talented Penny Hanuszak at UStamp with Dawn and Friends. I had not made a stair step fold card before and I did copy the design but with different colours and I used the sponge dauber for definition instead of the glitter.

Stamp Set: Winter Post, Lovely as a Tree
Ink: Baja Breeze
Card: Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Accessories: Silver Christmas Tree Brads

UStamp Christmas Gift Bag

Yes I got my mojo back as I think this Christmas Wine Gift Bag is alot better than my project from yesterday. It was so easy to make just cover a plain brown paper bag with handles. It looks great with a couple bottles of Shaw and Smith wines from Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills.

Stamp Set: Winter Post
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Always Artichoke
Card: Very Vanilla, Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Pure Pomegranate Satin Ribbon
