CASEing the Catty - #CTC319 Case a Technique - Embossing Ornate Floral 3D

It's that time of the week when I participate in CASEing the Catty #CTC319, we are featuring CASEing a Technique being Embossing, I have chosen to add textured embossing.

You may have started the blog hop here, welcome or you may have come from Michelle Strazds.

I have decide to CASE the sketch image in the centre to the left which is on page 148 of the Annual Catalogue.

I have added a layer of Ornate Floral textured embossed velum which I have layered onto the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper to create a softer layer instead of using a different colour of cardstock.

I have fussy cut the pansies and leaves from the Designer Series Paper as I wanted only a small white edge and I layered these to the left of the card and then stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss.

Stamp Set:  Etched in Nature
Cardstock:  Blackberry Bliss, Basic White, Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Blackberry Bliss
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Ornate Floral 3D Textured Embossing Folder, Triple Banner Punch (retired)

Thanks for stopping by, now it's time to hop on over to Julia Quinn.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC318 Case a Bundle in the Mini, Kangaroo & Company Bundle

It's time for CASEing a Bundle from the Mini Catalogue for this weeks CASEing the Catty #CTC318.

You may have started the blog hop here, welcome or you have come from Michelle Strazds.

This week I have choose one of the retiring Bundles - Kangaroo & Company, which will not be leaving me home as I have plans to send more cards using this set to my overseas friends.

I have chosen this fancy fold design - criss cross with an insert for this card with inspiration for the card featured on page 17 of the catalogue and to the left and a card that was on pinterest but I can not find it now.

It is just so cute for any occasion as mine is for a new baby, however at my last two classes they used the heart, flowers and presents to be popped into the pouch, but I just love the cute joey.

Stamp Set:  Kangaroo & Company
Cardstock:  Cinnamon Cider, Basic White, Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper, Natural Touch Specialty Paper
Ink:  Memento, Old Olive, Blends
Accessories:  Cut n Emboss Machine, Kangaroo Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, 1" Circle Punch (retired), Cinnamon Cider 1/4" Ribbon, Gold Trim

Thanks for stopping by this week, now it's time to hop on over to Monique Fielder.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC317 Hello to the New Catalogue, Hand-Penned Petals Bundle

Welcome to this week at CASEing the Catty, it's featuring the New Annual Catalogue which was launched on Wednesday, and wow it has some lovely new stamp sets and the in colors are just so beautiful.

You may have started the blog hop here, welcome or you may have come from Rebecca Scurr, who organises the Crew each week.

You have so many choices this week as it's CASEing the New Catalogue.

I have CASE the layout from page 15 of the Annual Catalogue which uses the Welcoming Window Bundle and changed it up to the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle.

You will notice I have used all five of the new incolors on the beautiful flower spray - Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink and Pale Papaya make great flowers and the two shades of green - Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen go so well for the leaves.

This stamp set comes in photopolymer and makes the two-step stamping oh so easy and they just layer so well on the Memento Black outline.

Stamp Set:  Hand-Penned Petals
Cardstock:  Pale Papaya, Basic White
Ink:  Memento, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen
Accessories:  Cut n Emboss Machine, Penned Flowers Dies, Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon
