Charisma Cardz Challenge #25

I really love this card the colour combination came out really well, I don't think I have ever used the apricot appeal and really be impressed with my outcome. The Charisma Cardz Challenge this week did not have any conditions - no set colours, theme, sketch etc so it was great to just create.

Stamp Set: Echoes of Kindness, Thoughts and Prayers
Ink: Black StazOn, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, Apricot Appeal
Card: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, Apricot Appeal
Accessories: Apricot Appeal 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon

Inkspirations Colour Challenge #9

Wow, it's been three weeks since I have got out my stamps to create, well that's a long time...I have been busy socially on the weekends and over my days off work but hopefully this will not be the only card for this week. Lynette kindly lent me a couple of her stamps sets about a couple of weeks ago so I thought I'd better use them before she arrives this afternoon. Today I was inspired by the colour challenge set by Makeesha Byl, it was a quick card to create as I did not have the basic grey or ruby red ink pads so my choices where limited.

Stamp Set: Thoughts & Prayers
Ink: Baja Breeze
Card: Basic Grey, Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Baja Breeze Striped Ribbon

Mojo Monday #89

I am attending a couples combined 40th Birthday celebrations on Sunday evening and wanted to make a card that matched the beautiful gold box of Haigh's Chocolates that I bought for them. If you are not from Australia you may not be familiar with Haigh's. The chocolates are all handmade and are just like Lindt Chocolates but I think they are even better but I maybe bias as they are only available in Australia at their own stores (not available in department stores etc). Well back to the card, it needed to be for a male/female so I chose a very plain but attractive design from the Mojo Monday challenge.

Stamp Set: Script, Baroque Motifs, Fifth Avenue Floral
Ink: VersaMark, Pacific Point
Card: Pacific Point, Gold, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Pacific Point Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Blue Rhinestone Brad, Gold Emboss Powder

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Sunday was a lovely day in Adelaide and a friend and I visited Government House as part of the SA History Week. After waiting 75 minutes in the long queue we ventured through all the room and even was greeted at the front door by the Governor of South Australia. I will share a few photos with you.

Today, the sunshine has gone and it's overcast so I have had a little time to do a little stamping. Here is my contribution for the Sketch Saturday challenge.

Stamp Set: Fifth Avenue Floral, Upsy Daisy
Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Almost Amethyst, Perfect Plum
Card: Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum, Old Olive, Perfect Plum, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Elegant Eggplant Grosgrain Ribbon, Wide Oval Punch, Purple Brads
