CASEing the Catty - #CTC354 Case the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper

This week at CASEing the Catty, we are caseing the Sale-A-Bration brochure and I am using the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Tina Gillespie.

I have choose to case the layout of the "hello" card from page 10.  I needed a 21st Birthday Card for a work colleague yesterday so I thought I would be able to tweak it so I could participate this week in the challenge.

First of all I put out some of the lovely Flight & Airy DSP and mounted this up on dimensionals and add a couple of strips of the reverse side pieces.  (This DSP is FREE with a $90 purchase up until the end of February and wow it's my favourite Sale-A-Bration item this year.)

I then added a strip of Lost Lagoon cardstock and a Basic White Hexagonal on dimensionals and add the 21 number in Pink.  Finally finishing off with the flower and leaves cut out from Moody Mauve Luster Speciality Paper with the Bough Punch and a Gold Simply Elegant Trim bow and a few Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.

Cardstock:  Pink, Lost Lagoon, Basic White, Moody Mauve Luster Speciality Paper, Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Large Number Dies (retired), Hexagonal Punch, Bough Punch, Gold Simply Elegant Trim, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems

CASEing the Catty - #CTC453 Case the Bee Mine Section Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle

This week at CASEing the Catalogue we are caseing the Bee Mine Section from the Mini Catalogue from pages 8 to 13.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Rebecca Scurr.

I have chosen the shaker card on page 12 which uses the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle.

To make the shaker card I have put a piece of textured Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper to my Thick Basic White cardstock and then cut out the second largest size Perennial Postage die.  I cut a piece of Basic White just smaller than the die cut piece and stamped the "for you" and punched out the hexagon shape at the top of the cardstock before putting this through the Cut 'n Embossing Machine using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder.

With the cut out hexagon piece on top of the die cut piece I made a couple of marks in pencil so I knew where to stamp the flower and foliage stamp in Berry Burst and Rich Razzleberry.  On the back of the cut out hexagon piece adhere a Window Sheet and then add some Foam Adhesive Sheet Strips around the edges.

Finally I put some Green and Pink sequins in the centre of the flowers and adhered the shaker part to the die cut piece which then entraps the sequins.

I then cut down the side of a Pink Glitter ribbon so I could take off the threads to create a bow and tie around the shaker card.

Stamp Set:  Heartfelt Hexagon
Ink: Berry Burst, Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Basic White, Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Perennial Postage Dies, Heartfelt Hexagon Punch, Layered Flowers 3D Embossing Folder, Pink Glitter Ribbon (retired), For Everything Fancy Sequins (retired)

CASEing the Catty - #CTC452 Case the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper

This week at Caseing the Catty we are featuring the Sale-A-Bration brochure and wow there is a beautiful selection of Designer Series Paper and Stamp Set available for FREE with a $90 order.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Judy May.

I have chosen to case the Toolbox Trolley that is featured on page 11.  I used the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper.  I has 2 sheet of tools which you can fussy cut out, there is a few that can be cut out using the matching Trusty Tools Dies from the Mini Catalogue but I don't mind fussy cutting.

To make the toolbox, cut four strips of Poppy Parade Cardstock to make the outline and I used 3 strips of the Designer Series Paper to make the drawers as pictured to the left (in my finished card I used 2 thick strips and 1 thin strip of DSP). I raised them up with dimensionals to give depth.

I then added a selection of tools in the drawers and added a sentiment to the ruler and die cut the wheels, screw and nuts from the Trusty Tool Dies.

Stamp Set:  Garden Meadow
Cardstock:  Gray Granite, Poppy Parade, Basic Black, Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Black Memento
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Trusty Tools Dies

CASEing the Catty - #CTC451 Case the Mini Catalogue Perennial Lavender Suite

Welcome to 2024!  And welcome to CASEing the NEW Mini Catalogue and wow I am in love with so many products.

You may have started here or you may have come from the very talented Michelle Strazds.

I am using the Perennial Lavender Suite Collection, which was one of my first choices in the catalogue and I am caseing the card on page 25.

This card featured a base of Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper layered on Highland Heather cardstock.  I have cut a piece of Basic White using the second largest Perennial Postage Die and used the blend brushes in Lemon Lime Twist and Highland Heather to create a soft background.

I have used markers in Berry Burst, Gorgeous Grape, Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather and Pretty Peacock direct to the stamp to create the featured flowers, stems and butterfly.  I die cut the flower images and then adhered them to the cardstock and topped them with the stamped images.  Finally I added a white twine bow and a sentiment and added a die cut and strip of DSP to inside the card.

Stamp Set: Painted Lavender, Circle Sayings
Cardstock:  Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Basic White, Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst, Gorgeous Grape, Blackberry Bliss, Pretty Peacock
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Perennial Postage Dies, Painted Lavender Dies
