Kristina Werner Design Colour Inspiration #50

It's finally raining in Adelaide, we have had some beautiful heavy showers over the last four days and are expecting more later in the week. For those of you that don't know we have been in draught conditions with strict water allocations, so the gardens will be green again soon and ready for planting the spring flowers. Today's colour challenge reminded me of spring and very bright colours so I thought I would plant some colourful flowers in a pot as I have seen the wonderful creations of others with the theme flower pot pocket cards.

Kristie Morrison has kindly stamped off some images for me so I can participate in the Magnolia Down Under Challenges as I don't have any of there stamps sets (my budget only goes so far). Hi Kristie, all the packing should be completed and you are on your way home to your family. I have found so many very kind and generous blog friends since I started stamping just over twelve months ago. Back to the card, the challenge was cupcake, I thought starting off small, well...I think my colouring skills need to improve alot to even get even close to me being happy but then again I do have high standards for myself but I want to show Kristie and her team at the Down Under Challenge that I am trying!!

Stamp Set: CupCake, Script
Ink: Black Stazon, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Bashful Blue, Almost Amethyst, Apricot Appeal
Card: Whisper White, Prefect Plum, Apricot Appeal, Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Yellow 1" Ribbon (which comes all the way from the United States of America - I think it is Stampin' Up as I got it from the UStamp card swap last time from Dawn Rapsas)

Sketch Saturday #47

Here is my final card for the weekend, back to work tomorrow so it will be another week before my stamps will appear again. I had stamped off this boat yesterday ready to create a card today and I was looking at blogs when I saw the Sketch Saturday challenge and thought it would suit the shape of the sailing boat. I don't make a lot of male cards but I have a few birthdays coming up so I have to prepare a few to post in the coming weeks.

Stamp Set: Seaworthy, Sincere Salutations, Baroque Motifs, Script
Ink: Soft Sky, Bayou Blue

Stamp With Gina - April Challenge

Today I decided to participate in Stamp with Gina's April Challenge which was a sketch challenge and a colour challenge - Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa and Whisper White (she does make it a bigger challenge than most). I decided to use the now retired stamp set but I only purchased it as part of the Victorian Bushfire Appeal so I will be using it alot in the future as it's my favourite at the moment. I also tried some of the Stampin' Chunky Sprinkles Glitter on this card, can anyone out there in blog world help me in regard to applying this glitter as I used my 2-Way Glue Pen and I think if I place it in an envelope it will brush off.

Stamp Set: Bodacious Bouquet, Short and Sweet
Ink: Pretty and Pink, Chocolate Chip
Card: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Pretty in Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Light Pink Chunky Sprinkles Glitter, Small Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Edge Punch

Charisma Cardz Challenge 14

I should have been making biscuits this afternoon for a church fundraiser coming up on Saturday but my stamps were calling instead of making 300+ biscuits and battling with the biscuit maker.

I have made a purple and green card for the Colour Combo Charisma Cardz Challenge, I used up some cardstock that I had laying around which I had collected before I started using the Stampin' Up card as they have everything that colour matches which makes life so much easier but I need to get rid of my supplies.

Stamp Set: Priceless
Ink: Sage Shadow, Lavender Lace
Card: Whisper White, Green, Purple
Accessories: 1" Square Punch, Square Scallop Punch

Stampin' Addiction Tuesday Layout Challenge

Happy Easter to everyone! I hope you are all having a great long weekend, it has given me some free time to stamp. I know that people visit as my counter ticks by, but I love if you leave a comment as then I know people really appreciate that I spend the time to upload my cards here.

Here is my card for Nerine's Tuesday Layout Challenge (sorry Nerine that I have not completed one in ages but time just gets away from me, but I do visit your blog regularly and love your work). Sue from Sue's Stampin' Designs kindly sent me some blog candy last week and I have used one of her stamps that she kindly sent me.

Kristina Werner Design Colour Inspiration 49 & Mojo Monday 81

I have not had time to stamp for the last few weekends due to a busy social life so I thought with the Easter Long Weekend I should pull out my stamp sets. I decided to participate in some challenges as I did not have any inspiration happening so I combined Kristina Werner Design Colour Inspiration with the Mojo Monday sketch challenge. The sketch design I thought would compliment a double front opening card (I don't know the official name). Luckly, I was given some of the new incolour cardstock as part of the last UStamp Card Swap (as my partner was from the United States and they get their catalogue before we do) as I am only having a party in early May when I will get all the new goodies. Hi to Kylie Robinson who is demonstrating her beautiful talents at my party. (I had to used some old olive ribbon as I did not have any kiwi kiss.)

Stamp Set: Priceless, Lots of Thoughts
Ink: VersaMark, Rose Red
Card: Basic Black, Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Old Olive Ribbon, Blue Brads, Circle Scallop Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch
