AWHT Heart of Christmas Week 3 Santa Express Suite

It's week 3 of the Art with Heart Team Christmas blog hop #heartofchristmas #heartofchristmas2022 and I had some free time on Sunday afternoon to fussy cut some Santa Express Designer Series Paper, I just love these Santas in the trains.

Welcome or you may have come from Rachel Woollard.

I finally opened the products I received as part of the Art with Heart Team shares, it just another bonus you receive being in this amazing group of demonstrators.  I know I can not get it "all" in the Holiday catalogue so being a part of the team and having the opportunity to get a selection of the Santa Express Memories and More Card Pack, Cards and Envelopes and Designer Series Paper is amazing!

My cards are very simple this week - no stamps, ink or cardstock!  Just the Santa Express Suite.

Yes, no stamps, ink or cardstock were used as I have started with the card bases from the Memories and More and then layered with either Memories and More Cards or Designer Series Paper and then I have fussy cut the Santas, Christmas trees and gifts, finally then added embellishment from the suite with a little bling to finish them off.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC377 Case Sale-A-Bration Tree Lot Dies

This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing the Sale-A-Bration brochure and wow there are some amazing FREE products that can inspire you.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from the talented Rachel Palmieri.

I am in the process of preparing for my Christmas in July card class so I want to used the Tree Lot Dies which is featured on page 12 with the Trees for Sale matching stamp set which you can purchase in the July to December Mini Catalogue for $39.00.

The card to the left uses non traditional Christmas colours of Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink, Blushing Bride with Starry Sky card base.  These are colours I would never have picked for a Christmas card colour combination but it really does work.

First I used Whisper White Craft ink to stamp the circles on the Starry Sky card base.

Then I stamped the two largest trees from the set in the four colours using the two step stamping technique - stamping off the ink with the background stamp and then with full ink with the highlighted branches.

Die cut all the trees and the caravan in Very Vanilla with a piece of Basic White for the windows.

It's then just time to arrange the trees separating the colours and sizes to fit your card (mine are a little different to the catalogue) and mounting some on diminsionals for added effect, don't forget to die cut at couple of tree trunks for the front two trees.  Finally stamp the sentiment in one of the coordinating colours I chose the Polished Pink and add some of the gorgeous Iridescent White Adhesive Backed Stars.

Stamp Set:  Trees for Sale
Cardstock:  Starry Sky, Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake
Ink:  Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink, Blushing Bride
Accessories:  Cut n Emboss Machine, Tree Lot Dies, Adhesive Backed Stars

Love those Iridescent White Stars

After making the above card, I could not resist making one with shades of green and there are a lot of them - Parakeet Party, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Shaded Spruce and Evening Evergreen!

Thanks for joining me this week, now it's time to see what Tina Gillespie has made.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC376 Case Mini Catalogue Peace to You

This week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the new July to December Mini Catalogue and you can case anything!

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Judy May.

I am very excited as it's Christmas in July.  I have decided to use one of my favourite sets that was a must have in my collection - Peace to You which is on page 41.

I have decided to make a shaker card which is inspired by the card below.  I have chosen to use the FREE Sale-A-Bration Silver and Gold Designer Series Paper as well (just spend $90 in any catalogue and you will be able to choose these 24 sheets).

I stamped the church with snow falling in Balmy Blue and placed this into a clear envelope and added a selection of sequins that I had in my collection (sorry I think they may be retired, but there are some others available in the Annual Catalogue).

I then mounted this with Foam Adhesive Sheets and added the frame of Silver dot and white designer series paper and finally added the gorgeous silver leaves from Artistic Dies and a matching sentiment.

Stamp Set:  Peace to You
Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Basic White, Silver Foil, Silver and Gold Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Balmy Blue
Accessories:  Cut n Emboss Machine, Artistic Dies, Sequins (retired), Clear Envelope
