CASE-ing the Catty Affectionately Yours Suite - #CTC84

This week at CASE-ing the Catty we are highlighting the Love and Sympathy section of the Annual Catalogue and I am featuring the Affectionately Yours Suite (Florals and Copper).

I have cased the card to the left using the Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape as my centre feature layered with a piece of the new doily and the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with some splashes of colour in the corners with a cute Watermelon Wonder butterfly.

I repeated this theme and created a travel journal (inspired by Billie Moan) to go with the card for a special friend that has a birthday this week and I know will be travelling overseas.  I even randomly stamped a few butterflies throughout the journal to keep with the theme.

I am planning my Card Classes for the rest of the year, after sending out my Save the Date! notice I checked to see when I return from my overseas adventure and I only fly in on Saturday, 24 September  early in the morning so I have postponed this one for the following week.

CASE-ing the Catty Tin of Cards and Mixed Borders - #CTC83

I have made some sweet little 3 1/2" square cards with matching envelopes for this weeks CASE-ing the Catty featuring the Thanks Section in the Annual Catalogue from page 38 to 43.

My inspiration started with the Playful Palette Designer Series Stack as I wanted to use this bright and colourful dsp to create some envelopes with the envelope punch board and then I made the cards to match the colours, which just happened to be the new In Colours of Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy.  The Peekaboo Peach card is a CASE from the images to the left and the Emerald Envy is a stepped up version with a layer of Emerald Envy and Whisper White cardstock to make it pop a little more.

Stampin' Up! Onstage Display Stampers: Birthday Blossoms

Life has been so busy of late, I just don't keep up with my blogging and my creating.  I have quite a few more cards to share with you from way back in April when I was one of the Display Demonstrators at Stampin' Up!'s Onstage Local in Sydney.

Today I am sharing, a card which features the Birthday Blossoms stamp set, with a few layers mostly keeping with Mint Macaron and Delightful Dijon with a little bit of Black StazOn for the colouring and a little silver to make it shine.

CASE-ing the Catty Embellished Ornaments - #CTC82

I am making a huge effort to start my Christmas Card early this year and I started back in May and have already about 15 in my box and I am adding another one today with CASE-ing the Catty featuring the Christmas section in the Annual Catalogue.


Why not take up the challenge and start earlier this year instead of making it a rush in December.

I was inspired by the box featured to the left to make a very quick and simple Christmas card in Bermuda Bay with the sentiment in the NEW Copper Stampin' Embossing Powder.  I have been seeing so much of the colour Copper of late, Stampin' Up! are so on trend!

CASE-ing the Catty Balloon Builders Shaker Card - #CTC81

We are launching the Annual Catalogue at CASE-ing the Catty!  We are featuring all things Birthdays this week, I am creating a Balloon Builder Shaker Card.

My card is inspired by a combination of the Baker's Box and the shaker card to the left.  I have not received my first order yet so I am using some products that I purchased in the pre-purchase which is a perk of being a demonstrator and some items that have carried over.

I have used the Crushed Curry Shaker card as my base with the inside of the shaker being inspired by the balloons on the box.  Stampin' Up! have released Foam Adhesive Strips ($14 for 9.1 metres of strips which will make lots of shaker or spinner cards).

I have used the versatile Balloon Builder stamp set for my card with the little hearts strip from Birthday Blooms.  The shaker contents are hearts from the Confetti Hearts Border Punch in Crushed Curry, Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo with some silver sequins which are now retired but I wanted a little bling in there too.  Oh I just about forgot to mention the new Thick Baker's Twine in Melon Mambo to make the bow at the top, which is another one of my favourite new items.
