We are launching the Annual Catalogue at CASE-ing the Catty! We are featuring all things Birthdays this week, I am creating a Balloon Builder Shaker Card.
You may be starting here at the hop, welcome! Or you may have come from Simone Bartrum and she is really inspired with the new catalogue.
My card is inspired by a combination of the Baker's Box and the shaker card to the left. I have not received my first order yet so I am using some products that I purchased in the pre-purchase which is a perk of being a demonstrator and some items that have carried over.
I have used the Crushed Curry Shaker card as my base with the inside of the shaker being inspired by the balloons on the box. Stampin' Up! have released Foam Adhesive Strips ($14 for 9.1 metres of strips which will make lots of shaker or spinner cards).
I have used the versatile Balloon Builder stamp set for my card with the little hearts strip from Birthday Blooms. The shaker contents are hearts from the Confetti Hearts Border Punch in Crushed Curry, Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo with some silver sequins which are now retired but I wanted a little bling in there too. Oh I just about forgot to mention the new Thick Baker's Twine in Melon Mambo to make the bow at the top, which is another one of my favourite new items.
Stamp Set: Balloon Builder, Birthday Blooms
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Ink: Crushed Curry, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo
Accessories: Melon Mambo Thick Baker's Twine, Medium Star Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Square Framelits (retired), Confetti Heart Border Punch, Silver Sequins (retired)
Close up of the Balloons and all those shaker contents.
It's time to hop over to Tricia Raineri and her birthday card, but before you click next...the Crew would like to add a couple more Crew members to the team so if you have a current blog and like getting inspiration from the Stampin' Up! Catalogue and post regularly why not apply today! (Sorry only Australian and New Zealand Demonstrators can participate.) Go to the CTC post and add a comment with a link to your blog.
If you have any problems hopping please check out the crew's creation at CASE-ing the Catty.
Are you inspired by the Crew or the new Annual Catalogue why not enter our monthly challenge and a winner will be announced at the end of the month, so go to the linky tool at CTC.
