CASE-ing the Catty Sale-A-Bration Metallics Glitter Tape and Hello - #CTC70

Welcome to the Adelaide Cup Long Weekend here in South Australia and to the CASE-ing the Catty Sale-A-Bration feature #CTC70.  Do you know you have only 18 more days to take advance of the Sale-A-Bration products.

You may have come from Julia Quinn and wow I love her card using the Pedal Pusher two-step stamp set.

I am using the new Metallics Glitter Tape today in the three colours Gold, White and Silver (which was inspired by the example on the left).

Now you might be thinking there is a pink strip not white, well I have used my trusty sponge dauber with some Melon Mambo ink and dabbed it on and in a second you have glitter tape in any colour you would like.  I used my piecing mat to lay down the glitter tape and then just pealed it off as I don't have a silicone craft sheet.  I just used the Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner with a tissue and the ink just wiped off the piecing mat.

My butterfly is layered with vellum and sponge daubered around the edges with Melon Mambo.  The Melon Mambo decorative butterfly I have used the 2-way glue pen around the edges and then sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds glitter on and then set the card off with a few gold sequins from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit.

Stamp Set: Hello
Cardstock:  Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Vellum
Ink: Melon Mambo, Pool Party
Accessories: Metallics Glitter Tape, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Bold Butterfly Framelits, Butterflies Thinlits, 2-way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Gold Sequins

It's time to hop over to Rachel Palmieri and she has created a couple of cards also using the Metallics Glitter Tape but oh so different to my girly card.

If you have any problems hopping around please check out the crew's creations at CASE-ing the Catalogue.

Do you love what the crew has made this week, why not case a card and enter our monthly challenge in March and we will announce the winner at the beginning of April.  Go to the linky tool at CTC.

  1. Kathryn I love your card, the butterfly is just perfect as the centre feature, and layering it with vellum gives it such a lovely soft feel.

  6. Love the glimmer tape coloured in, so many ways you can use it, aren't there? I think popping a butterfly on top is a much better option too.
