Heart of Christmas Blog Hop - Week 16

It's time to step up my Christmas cards making, as I have just worked out that I have only made 53 so far and I need more than double this amount.

Welcome to the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! Team Heart of Christmas blog hop or you may have come from the Team Leader, Claire Daly.

I "found" in my craft room some stamped images from the Winterley Tree Tops which I stamped in Black Memento ink whist I was on The Great American Stampin' Cruise way back in June.

It was time to get out my Stampin' Blends and do some colouring, for this one I have used Crumb Cake and a little Gray Granite for the bird and then a few shades of green for the foliage and then fussy cut out the images.

For the card I started with a Basic Beige card base layered with Mossy Meadow cardstock and Country Lace Designer Series Paper and wrapped some Night of Navy Linen Thread around a couple of times and tided a bow.

It was then time to cut out a circle for the Spotlight on Nature Dies which I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow and then cut the coloured foliage in half and added them with a layer of Mossy Meadow foliage from the Golden Greenery Dies.  Finally I added a few Pearl Berries to finish off the Christmas card.

Stamp Set:  Winterley Tree Tops, Peaceful Season
Cardstock:  Basic Ba, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Country Lace Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Black Memento, Mossy Meadow,
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Golden Greenery Dies, Night of Navy Linen Thread, Pearl Berries

Close up of my colouring of the bird and leaves.

Thanks for stopping by now it's time to see what Rachel Woollard has created.
