CASEing the Catty Graceful Garden - #CTC182

It's the Queen's Birthday long weekend here in Adelaide and I have a couple of free hours last evening to create, this week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring pages 13 to 25 in the Annual Catalogue.

You maybe starting here so welcome or you could have come from Angela Meiritz-Reid.

Whilst looking through the pages, the card using the Graceful Garden stamp set stood out, so I pulled out this stamp set that I have had since the last catalogue but it had not seen ink until last night.

I have cased the card with the same colours and really enjoyed using clear embossing powder on the watercolour paper and then water washed with the Aqua Painter and Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist ink.

To create the roses, I again water washed the Melon Mambo lightly and then when the paper was still a little damp stamped the image in Melon Mambo which then bleed a little which created a lovely wash look.  I then repeated this with Berry Burst.  I created the leaves with the same technique with the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green.

Stamp Set:  Graceful Garden
Cardstock:  Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White, Watercolour
Ink:  Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo, Berry Burst, Garden Green, VersaMark
Accessories:  Heat Tool, Clear Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Flourish Thinlits, Aqua Painter, Silver Foil Metallic Enamel Shapes (retired)
