Art with Heart Team Blog Hop - Caseing the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue

I have decided to combine two cards from page 44 of the Annual Catalogue which use the Darling Label Punch Box - you can not purchase this cute punch on it's own but how would not want to receive the bundle of Darling Label 6 piece photopolymer stamp set, Darling Label punch and Grapefruit Grove and Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Spots with a clear stamp block too.

I stamped the flower image three times once in Night of Navy and then Old Olive and fussy cut around the leaves and then finally stamped it in Grapefruit Grove and then cut around only the flowers and sentiment and then layered them up Silver Mini Sequin Trim, a Grapefruit Grove circle, Pearlised Doily and finally Silver Metallic Thread.

CASEing the Catty Around the Corner - #CTC184

It's another foggy and cold day here in Woodside but this afternoon I was nice and warm in the craft room being inspired by the Annual Catalogue from pages 38 through to 51 and there were a lot to choose from this week.

I received this stamp set at Onstage Local in Sydney back in April and it really did not inspire me but when I saw the card below it just said I could create a Christmas Tree out of that set, wow you say but the catalogue makes the sets oh so versatile.

It's nearly July and I do Christmas in July card classes so at this time of the year I try and start on my Christmas card collection, so in the next 4 weeks you will be getting lots of Christmas cheer and inspiration, it's never too early as I know I always still have a rush to make them as December approaches.

I stamped the background first in Old Olive and then stamped a lot of small branches and got fussy cutting them all out, and then mounted them up with dimensionals and then added some of the new red rhinestones to create the baubles and a Real Red bow to finish it off.

CASEing the Catty Animal Outing - #CTC183

This week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the Animal Expedition Section from page 26 to 37.

It's Sunday night and I have only 30 minutes ago said goodbye to my Card Class ladies, who  enjoy using lots of new products from the Annual Catalogue, and I could not go passed the cute animals from the Animal Outing stamp sets.

I decided to use the card to the left for my inspiration but stamped the kangaroo and koala as my centrepoint in Early Espresso and then used the watercolour pencils and my Aqua Painter to colour them.  I masked the kangaroo and then added the grasses in Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green and layered it onto a circle of Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight Double-Stitched Ribbon.
