Global Design Project #GDP016 - Home for Christmas

This was my final design for my Christmas Cards this year and it was inspired by the Holiday Catalogue and the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP016.

I really do like to case the catalogue with my own little inspiration and changes.  I would have liked to change it into a shaker card but time was not with me but you never know I might just try to make one now that I have a few days off work and make a start on my selection for 2016.

Sneak Peak from Occasion Catalogue - Number of Years

I am enjoying a little break from work between Christmas and New Year and have had a few spare hours in the last couple of days creating with new products from the upcoming Occasion Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration promotion.  It's one of the perks of being a demonstrator we get to preorder from the new catalogues in advance.

Christmas Message ... Every Blessing

I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas on this Christmas Day.  

It's been a busy day of cooking the turkey and all the vegetables on a very hot 37 degrees day here in the Adelaide Hills, but turning on the air conditioner you would never have known it was that hot outside.  After many courses of food and snacks in between we are so blessed to have so much in our lives and also to spend quality time with my family.

I would like to share a card which is a beautiful image that is beautifully described in the following verse,  Luke 2: 8-14

There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.  An Angel of the Lord appeared to them ant the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid.  I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you: he is the Messiah, the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."  Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest heaven and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests."

CASE-ing the Catty CASE-ing a Crew Member - CTC60

This week it's a little different at CASE-ing the Catty, we are CASE-ing a Crew Member, I am featuring the very talented Elizabeth Gross.

I loved Elizabeth's sweet card "Into the Woods with Rudolph" which she created a few weeks ago so I have decided to CASE this one, but it was so difficult to choose one as she does create amazing cards and projects.  (I have included below the image that inspired Elizabeth's reindeer.)



I used my inspiration of Rudolph and his red nose but I did not have the antler's stamp so I decided I would use punch art (also inspired by Tina Gillespie), I did have the Vellum with the antlers so I thought I would use them to make a boarder on each side of the card.
