Trip to Melbourne

It's been a long time since I have posted anything on my blog but I have been on a 6 day trip to Melbourne for work and to catch up with friends a couple of weeks ago and my spare time has been taken up with my Christmas preparations including more cards (and the two page newsletter that was included) and a scrapbooking page or two.

Christmas Cards - Merry Merry

This afternoon I spent a couple of hours using the Merry Merry stamp set to create these three Christmas cards. I hope your not getting too bored with my Christmas card theme over the last month but it has been my focus as it will not be long and December will be here and it's time to post them out with an update on the year's happenings. I prepare a newsletter each month (for family and friends via the email) called "What's Happened in Kathryn's World" and I had to get it completed today as I will be away in Melbourne from Friday for six days for work and play.

6" x 6" Mini Scrapbook

I spent most of the day making this mini scrapbook and the five pages to give to Christina as birthday gift in a couple of week's time. I was able to source one of the photos from her sister so she will be shocked that I have included such a recent photograph. I used the template from UStamp as a base but had to make adjustments to the size as it was for a smaller size (I think postcard size only).

Rotating Circle Christmas Card

This card did take me quiet a while to complete, but then again I have been on the phone to a friend for over an hour and had lunch but I did start it late this morning and now have only just finished it, but had to post it here straight away and on the UStamp site as I am really happy with how it turned out. (I got the template of the four rotating circles from Monica Gale on UStamp which sadly has now posted the last project idea.)
