CASEing the Catty - #CTC510 Case March Online Exclusives

This week we are introducing you to the March Online Exclusives at CASEing the Catty.

Thanks for stopping by this week, now it's time to see what Rebecca Scurr has created.

I have only just placed my order this week so I don't have any of the new products yet, but I am caseing the card which uses the You are Remarkable stamp set featured below.

I have created a card especially for a new born baby using the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I have started with a Lost Lagoon card base and layered this with a piece of matching Designer Series Paper.  Using the Cut 'n Emboss machine I cut out a Basic White banner and wrapped some White Baker's Twine about it a couple of times and the tided a large bow, with some Lost Lagoon cardstock I cut a layer around the banner.

Finally I stamped the sentiment and added the gorgeous images from the Storybook Moments Sticker Sheets.

Stamp Set:  Storybook Moments
Cardstock:  Lost Lagoon, Basic White, Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Gray Granite
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Dies, White Baker's Twine

CASEing the Catty - #CTC509 Case Floral Delight Suite

This week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the Floral Delight Suite in the Mini Catalogue from pages 33 to 37.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Rochelle Laird-Smith.

I have completed two cards for this Challenge my first one is mostly a direct case from the Mini Catalogue on page 33 with the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper with lots of fussy cutting of the flowers and leaves.

My second card uses Blue tones and features the upcoming Online Exclusive Thankful Garden Bundle, which has a stamp set, dies and decorative masks.

I started with a Boho Blue card base which I stamped in Boho Blue one of the two step flower stamps and layered this with a piece of the Pecan Pie textured paper from the Floral Delight DSP which I had cut out some flower dies in two corners.

It was then time to get out the decorative masks and used Boho Blue and Old Olive to create the flowers and leaves.  I then fussy cut out the flowers and leaves as I currently don't have the dies, (I reduced the size of the hydrangea to fit in the right hand side).

Finally, I did some die cutting of the sentiments with cardstock and with the beautiful Floral Vellum.  The "happy birthday" sentiment is white embossed and I reduced the size by putting the cardstock through the die twice.

It was then just layering these on top of a piece of ribbon and then I added a little petal from the hydrangea which was left over from the larger one (and I also added a couple more to inside the card).

Stamp Set:  Delightful Wishes
Cardstock: Boho Blue, (Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight), Old Olive (Pecan Pie), Basic White, Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, Floral & Gingham Vellum
Ink:  Boho Blue, Old Olive, VersaMark
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Thankful Garden Decorative Masks, Delightful Wishes Dies, Ribbon (retired)

The yellow version a direct case from the Mini Catalogue.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC508 Case Sale-A-Bration

We are in the last few days of the Sale-A-Bration promotion and this week at CASEing the Catty we are again featuring the brochure.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Monique Fielder.

Today, I have CASEd the box on page 15 of the brochure.  I have turned the box into card and have made two colour combinations one being a direct CASE and one that I have used pink tones.

I started with an Old Olive card base and layered this with the Timber 3D Textured Embossing piece and put some of the Boho Blue Jute Trim around. I have separated the trim by unraveling it to create three thin pieces.

Then it was time to cut out the two banners in Basic White and Boho Blue and stamping the floral image with Black Momento on the Basic White banner and some further images on scraps of Basic White.  I then used my collection of pencils to colour in the images and fussy cut them out.  It was then time to place both the banners down with dimensionals and tucked the extra flowers behind them, finally adding the crumb cake circle sentiment and the Boho Blue bow.

I then decide to create the pink tone version using Moody Mauve cardstock and Pebbled Path features.

Stamp Set:  Corner in Bloom, Sketched Butterflies
Cardstock:  Old Olive, Boho Blue (Moody Mauve, Pebbled Path), Crumb Cake, Basic White
Ink:  Black Momento, Colour Pencils
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Birthday Celebration Die, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Timber 3D Textured Embossing Folder, Boho Blue (Peddled Path) Jute Trim

I have started with a Thick Basic White card base and then and then I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock which I used my blending brushes in Lemon Lime Twist and Old Olive.

To create the ground I ripped a piece of paper and used this as a mask and added Mossy Meadow ink with the blending brush again.

I then die cut the leaves in Garden Green and the branches and trunk of the trees in Pecan Pie, finally added the sentiment in Black Memento.

Wow, where did January go?  We are in the last month of the Sale-A-Bration promotion and this week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the brochure.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Rochelle Blok.

I have chosen a card on page 15, featuring the Corner in Bloom stamp set which is your FREE gift with a spend of $200 of Stampin' Up! product of your choice.

With Black Memento ink I stamped the corner flower images in a diagonal pattern so it would form at frame, then I then took out my watercolour pencils in Old Olive and White and coloured in the flowers and leaves.

Finally adding a white heat embossed sentiment from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set (which is in the last chance $14 reduced from $35) and then layered this onto a piece Mossy Meadow cardstock which I raised up with dimensionals.

Stamp Set:  Corner in Bloom, Heartfelt Hexagon

CASEing the Catty - #CTC502 Case Sale-A-Bration

This week Stampin' Up! have release the biggest promotion of the year - Sale-A-Bration! and we are featuring this brochure this week for CASEing the Catty.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Julia Quinn.

I have chosen the card on page 8 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure which uses the FREE Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper.

I started with a Thick Basic White card base and I cut off 1 1/4" from the front so it would show off the inside panel.  I layered with 2 pieces of the Toadstool Gardens DSP in matching designs for the front cover and inside panel (2 15/16" x 5 13/6" and 2 15/16" x 1 6/16").

On a piece of Basic White cardstock I stamped the three Zinnia's from the Simply Zinnia Stamp Set in Black Memento ink and coloured then in with Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green blends to match the Designer Series Paper.  I then fussy cut the image as I wanted to only had a tiny bit of white show so the woodgrain would show through between the foliage.

With a piece of woodgrain DSP I die cut a circle and put adhered the zinnias with dimensionals.  I then used a piece of Linen Thread and tided it with a bow around the centre of the card, then added the woodgrain centrepiece and a sentiment.

Stamp Set:  Simply Zinnias,  Simply Said
Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Basic White, Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Black Memento, Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Linen Thread
