I have held Christmas Card classes over the last two days and I was inspired to do a card for this week's challenge, Case a Mini Catalogue Bundle from pages 72-79.
Welcome to the hop, are you may have come from Julia Quinn.
I have chosen to case the card from page 76 and have used the traditional Christmas colours of red, green and white on my card.
I have chosen a piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper in the shades of red - Cherry Cobbler and Real Red for my background, mounted on a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock.
I have then added the stamped leaves in Evening Evergreen and the die cut leaves in Old Olive and the berries and sentiment in Poppy Parade. Finally I finished off the card with a Garden Green small bow and some Elegant Faceted Gems.
Stamp Set: Leave of Holly
Ink: Evening Evergreen, Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Old Olive, Basic White, Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Holly Berry Dies, Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon, Elegant Faceted Gems
Close up of the holly leaves and sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by now it's time to see what Tina Gillespie has made.
Are you inspired by the CASEing the Catty Crew why not participate in the CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge by uploading a card or project to the facebook page.
Your card is so much nicer than the catalogue sample - I love the green and red colour scheme for a more traditional card.
