Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty, we are CASEing your favourite projects in this year's Annual Catalogue and wow there are so many amazing choices.
If you are starting the hop here welcome, or you may have come from Lauren Meiklejohn.
Each year in July, I start making my Christmas Cards large selection starting with my Christmas in July card classes a couple of weeks ago.
My very talented team member, Andrea Sargent loaned me her Peaceful Boughs and coordinating Beautiful Boughs Dies so I decided to case the card on page 61 of the Annual Catalogue utilising this bundle and the many shades of green.
My card base is in Soft Sea Foam and I have layered a piece of Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and then added the lovely sentiment and ribbon in Very Vanilla.
I have die cut the pinecones in Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider and used the many foliage dies in the three shades of green - Pear Pizzaz, Garden Green and Just Jade and splattered these around the sentiment focal point, finally finishing off with the Red Rhinestones.

ReplyDeleteYour card is so beautiful! All the green foliage looks amazing, and the multicoloured sentiment is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Kathryn. Love that background DSP and all the green shades together.
ReplyDeleteAll of the shades of green work well together and I love how the DSP behind blends nicely.
ReplyDeleteI love this Christmas card due to the fact it's different from the normal Christmas theme cards. I'd say a more modern look to this card. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteSo love your card Kathryn. Love the many layers and the different green boughs. So gorgeous. X
