I held my Card Class yesterday which was my launch of the new Annual Catalogue and to introduce the amazing products to my lovely attendees I could not go past making a card with the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.
Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty blog hop, you maybe starting here or you may have come from Julia Quinn.
This week we are CASEing a layout on page 36, and I think you may notice mine is very similar to the card in the centre.
I have used the blends in shades of blue and green to colour the huge magnolia which I had stamped in Memento and have mounted this onto a piece of vellum cardstock which I have stamped with Black Stazon with the bud and leaves from the same stamp set, and then shaded the leaves in with the blends to make them shine.
Finally I added a tag in Whisper White using the Stitched Rectangle Dies to give it further detail, and then added a cute twine bow.
Stamp Set: Good Morning Magnolia
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Vellum
Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Memento,
Accessories: Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight Blends, White and Silver Baker's Twine (retired)
Close up of the beautiful large magnolia and vellum background.
Now it's time to hop on over to Kelly Kent.

Such an unusual colour for the magnolia - but the blue, green, and brown work so well together! So beautifully coloured.
ReplyDeleteWould never have thought of a blue magnolia Kathryn but it looks fabulous! Love it paired with Granny Apple Green too.
