Heart of Christmas - Flurry of Wishes

I have finally had some time to create, and I had my Christmas in July Card Class on Saturday so I will be sharing my cards with you in the coming weeks as part of Claire Daly's Art with Heart Team - Heart of Christmas.

I have used the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and matching punch (that I have now noticed is retired), but I did fussy cut the largest feature so it would not take much to fussy cut all the layers.  Don't you love that the Glimmer Paper goes so well with the Clear Faceted Gems and the Silver Stampin' Embossing Powder oh so well.

I also used a non Christmas stamp set, Flourishing Phrases for the large flourish in Soft Sky and then embossed the greeting on top.

(Sorry my photographs are not the best, but it's a really dark, wet and rainy day here in the Adelaide Hills so I had to take them inside and I don't have a photo box.)

  3. Your card is so pretty. I love the flourish background. Funny how I'd never thought to stamp it 'upside down', but it looks really good.
