CASE-ing the Catty High Tide - #CTC116

My Stampin' Up! Card Class ladies have only left a couple of hours ago and this is a card we made today which coincided with this week's CASE-ing the Catty featuring the Succulent Garden section in the Occasions Catalogue (pages 20 to 31).

You maybe starting here so welcome or you may have come from Monique Fielder.

I have been inspired by the image to the left and have stamped my lighthouse in Real Red and have made my card a very quick and easy design for the class.

I then stepped it up in the second card using a piece of designer series paper and some extra images and the sentiment banner.

Colour INKspiration Vertical Greetings - #CI03

Wow I can not believe we are in the second week of February already, which means it's time for another Colour INKspiration Challenge and I thought I would feature a Valentine's Card ready for Tuesday.

I have chosen the Vertical Greetings stamp set with the potted heart stamp and have used the Stampin' Write Markers to colour direct to the rubber and then stamped the image straight onto a Whisper White Note Card and matching Envelope.  I then cut off a strip of the Note Card to reveal the stamped greeting I Love You on a piece of Soft Sky cardstock.  I then finished the card off with a sweet little Peekaboo Peach Enamel Heart.

CASE-ing the Catty Easter Message - #CTC114

Have you had a busy week?  I have been busy creating this week with a 60th and 30th Birthday card celebrations but I also had time to participate in this week's CASE-ing the Catty.  We are featuring the Sending Love section in the Occasions Catalogue from pages 14 to 19.

As I thought most of the ladies would choose Valentine's Day cards, I thought I would use the very beautiful Easter Message stamp set, but I was not alone by the looks either.

Do you send Easter cards?  I don't give many but I really like the real message of this time of the year instead of all the Easter Eggs and Bunnies that we usually feature.

I made a couple of cards using the same pastel colours of the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper with the image and sentiment embossed in Copper with the Vanilla with Shiny Gold Accents Ribbon from the Sale-A-Brations promotion.  I did have a little trouble making a bow with this ribbon, I really don't know why but I just could not get it to sit right but I ran out of time to keep tying it so they are not perfect at all.
