CASEing the Catty - #CTC529 Case a Card Kit

Stampin' Up! have some lovely Card Kits and this week we are featuring them at CASEing the Catty.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Judy May.

I have chosen the Beautiful Blues Card Kit which has all the supplies to make 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs) and includes the matching stamp set all for $41.00.

Kit includes one of each item listed below.

- Beautiful Blues Photopolymer Stamp Set
- Clear stamp block
- Night of Navy Classic Stampin’ Spot™
- Step-by-step instructions
- 9 printed card bases
- 9 printed envelopes
- Precut paper pieces, dot embellishments
- Adhesive

I used this kit in a card class a couple of months ago and it was a huge kit.  I only had 2 cards left, so I have made them up as per the instructions and have just added my favourite Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon to just give the sentiment and leaves just a bit more glamour.

Accessories:  Beautiful Blues Card Kit, Gold 3/8" Striped Mesh Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by again this week, now it's time to see what Julia Quinn has made using the kits for inspiration.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC528 Case July Online Exclusives

It's July so it's all about Christmas in July for me and this week CASEing the Catty are featuring the July Online Exclusives.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Julia Quinn.

I have cased the card featured to the right, with a traditional red, green and white colour scheme.

The card on the left, has a Poppy Parade card base with a rectangle piece of vellum die cut using the Textured Notes Dies.

Then it was all about the three step stamping of the Bauble Blooms stamp set in Black Memento, stamped off Poppy Parade and Lemon Lime Twist.  I then stamped the Lemon Lime Twist layer again on Basic White and die cut it out for the bauble at the top to give further depth.

Finally adding the Poppy Parade hangers, the Lemon Lime Twist sentiment stamped in Old Olive and a little bow which I cut down the Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon and added a few of the Holographic Resin Dots.

The second card started with Real Red card base and a layer of Basic White and then another layer of Real Red which I stamped a few of the blotches from the stamp set.  I then cut out the baubles in vellum and the bauble features in Basic White and then added a simple sentiment stamped in again Real Red.

Stamp Set:  Bauble Blooms, Jolly Holly
Cardstock:  Poppy Parade, Lemon Lime Twist, Real Red, Basic White, Vellum
Ink:  Poppy Parde, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, Real Red, Black Memento
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Bauble Blooms Dies, Textured Notes Dies, Ribbon, Holographic Resin Dots, Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon

My first card used the stamp set and dies.

Inside the card which has a sentiment from another Online Exclusive Jolly Holly Bundle.
