CASEing the Catty Epic Celebrations - #CTC161

It's been a little cooler here in the Adelaide Hills (even some rain over the last couple of days), so I was able to do some creating last evening.

This week at CASEing the Catty were are featuring the Sale-A-Bration brochures, yes you have the choice of the whole 20 pages - #CTC161.

I have chosen to case the sketch of the card to the left featured on page 13, it does use the Bubble Over Bundle (which I do have but has not seen ink yet) but I have utilised the FREE Sale-A-Bration Epic Celebrations stamp set which comes in red rubber (wood or clear).

I first chose the colourful dots from Coffee Break Designer Series Paper as my background and then the colours that go with the DSP, as it makes life so easy.

I then I wanted to highlight the guitar stamp and decided to use Garden Green and Soft Sky cardstock and to emboss in white and I think they really make a statement.

Colour INKspiration Lots of Lavender - #CI25

Wow, did you think I had gone missing from the Colour INKspiration Crew, well even the Crew made have thought so too, but I am back creating again and loving it.  For this challenge we are using just three colours - Night of Navy, Whisper White and Lemon Lime Twist - #CI25.

I am featuring one of my very favourite Sale-A-Bration stamp sets, Lots of Lavender and I lost count how many times I stamp it in Night of Navy and then used the Stampin' Blends in the light shade of Night of Navy for the flowers and the Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Marker for the stems and leaves.

I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock a little smaller than the base of Thick Whisper White and draw a border around with the thick end of my Lemon Lime Twist Stampin' Marker, then layered upon layered the flowers and leaves and finished with a cute sentiment and a scattering of Lemon Lime Twist Sequins.

CASE-ing the Catty Picture Perfect Birthday - #CTC160

It's been mid November since I have been able to participate in CASE-ing the Catty due to Christmas preparations and a busy social calendar at the end of the year.  Well I am back with the New Year and the NEW OCCASIONS CATALOGUE.


This week we are featuring the Picture Perfect Party section in the Occasions Catalogue (pages 4-9) - #CTC160.

I have cased the card to the left, I have utilise a different Designer Series Paper - Sweet Soiree Speciality Designer Series Paper which has the silver foil to add texture to the handprinted designs.

I used the colours from the Speciality Designer Series Paper for the cardstock, I love that it all coordinates.  I replaced the Simple Stripes Textured Embossing Folder as I did not have this one, I love that you can do this as we all want everything in the new catalogue, but the budget only goes so far.

I then used a couple pieces of the beautiful Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon to finish off the card as unfortunately due to manufacturing difficulties the Picture Perfect Paper Ribbon is unavailable.
