CASE-ing the Catty Mother's Day Bloom for You - #CTC75

I have had a couple of weeks break from CASE-ing the Catty but I am back today to feature a card that we made earlier today in my Card Class.  The theme this week #CTC75 is Mother's Day and I am highlighting a single stamp which is retiring, Bloom for You. ($17.00 wood)

You may have come from Bronwyn Eastley and wow a mum is going to love receiving this card.

I have used a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then used the Hello Honey Stampin' Write Marker on an acrylic block with a little spritz of water to make the background. I have then used the Colour Spritzer Tool (which retired a few years ago) to splash a little colour once the image had dried in Hello Honey, Pumpkin Pie and Lost Lagoon.

You will then need to stamp the Bloom image three times in Pumpkin Pie and punch 2 out with the Fun Flower Punch and one with the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch and then stamp one in Hello Honey and punch out with the 1/2" Circle Punch.

I have used a strip of tear and tape adhesive at the back of the Whisper White cardstock and then scrunched up the Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon and then tied a beautiful bow to finish it off.

Stampin' Up! Onstage Display Stampers: Painter's Palette

It is with a HUGE exciting that I would like to share with you my projects from Stampin' Up! Onstage Local event in Sydney.

I was really lucky to be chosen to be one of the Display Stampers.

You have no idea what it was like to receive a Big Brown Box from the Stampin' Up! Head Office with a brand new stamp set and ribbon, unfortunately there was a little problem with deliveries so I did not get the new in colours, so I featured the 2015-2017 in colours instead.

The new Stamp Set was a 9 piece set, Painter's Palette and I made a variety of cards and 3 dimensional projects using this set.  We were also given a selection of carryover items that we were only able to use.  Using only the 5 in colours - Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder does have it's challenges, but I think I displayed them in a great light.

Today I am going to feature the new stamp set, Painter's Palette and later in the week I will post all my projects in a few posts.
