Birthday Challenge

I discovered a new blog site today by Nerine and she was running a Birthday Challenge so here is my card that I entered. I am currently having a love affair with the In-colours soft sky and blue bayou which I only received a couple of weeks ago.

Stamps by Mail - May and My Creations

This afternoon I found some time to complete my Stamps by Mail (May) provided by the very talented Alisa Tilsner. The first two cards are from her kit and the second two are my creations. I had lots of fun that I even made matching envelopes. (I have not completed the scrapbooking page as I don't know what photo to use.)

Stamps by Mail - May

The postie delivered my stamps, cards and accessories from Alisa Tilsner's Stamps by Mail (the first of four months) today, I now have to wait for some free time to complete the three tasks (2 cards and a 6" x 6" scrapbooking page).

2-5-7-10 Box

I have been busy this afternoon making the 2-5-7-10 box for the first time, it turned out really well so I will need to make some more, perhaps in a bigger size.

Birthday Goodie Bags

I did not have time to make the 2-5-7-10 boxes which I would have liked, so I bought the bags but decorated them ready for a surprise 40th Birthday for a friend on Tuesday evening. (I used the From the Garden stamp on the tissue paper and added homemade biscuits, chocolates and a rose tealight candle.) She has 2 children and is always making goodie bags for their birthdays so I thought I would give her a little bit of embarassment at the restaurant with these, a balloon centrepiece decoration, poppers and whistles and a birthday cake.
I must try and attempt the boxes soon so I can make them to give away to friends, perhaps on another wintery day soon.
