Today I am participating in a blog hop along with the super talented ladies in the Art With Heart Team. We thought it would be fun to share some Easter projects, seeing as Easter is only about 3 weeks away!
Saleabration is a great time to join or place a $90 order to get extra free items – ask me how!
Blog Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post there is a link to the next one. There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken links. Now let’s get started!
I have created some Easter Gifts with the Mini Egg Cartons and the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Hey, Chick. I stamped the cute chicks in Chocolate Chip and then I used a selection of Stampin' Markers to colour in the images and then I used the Square Stitched Shape Framelits Dies to cut them out and layered them onto cardstock and the recently release Sale-A-Bration Glimmer Paper.
I coloured the first Mini Egg Carton with 20 drops of Pool Party reinker mixed with Isocol rubbing alcohol (which make it quicker to dry than water) into a spritzer and covered it the colour and let it dry. Finally, I made a belly band in Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper and Real Red Ribbon and attached the stamped image.
For the second Mini Egg Carton I left it in the natural colour and tided a piece of Peekaboo Peach Ribbon around to secure the Easter Eggs with a bow on the side and then attached the stamped image.
Stamp Set: Hey, Chick, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Tasty Treats Speciality Designer Series Paper
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Crajun Craze, Calyso Coral and lots of Stampin' Markers
Accessories: Mini Egg Cartons, Real Red 1/8" Grosgrain Sending Love Ribbon, Peekaboo Peach 3/8" Ruched Ribbon, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Stitched Shapes Farmelits Dies
Now it's time to hop on over to Claire Daly the Art with Heart Team Leader and amazing designer.
