Cancer Council Girls Night In

Over the weekend I have decided to host a Cancer Council's Girl's Night In event however I am having Kathryn's Girls Afternoon!

I'm holding this event to raise vital funds for women's cancers in memory of my mother and sister. If you are reading this post you are a lover of handcrafted cards, and I would love if you could help me out with any cards that I could sell or any left over cardstock, papers or emblishments which we could use on the day to create or use as prizes.

Here's is how I plan to raise the funds...
'Come and spend an afternoon at my home on Saturday, 17 October 2009 at 2.00 pm drinking a glass of champagne (or Shaw and Smith Sauvignon Blanc) and eating some nibbles and afternoon tea whilst making some handcrafted cards. Only $2.00 per card (all cardstock precut and ready to be put together and supplied by me) with 100% of the money donated to the Cancer Council or just come and relax and buy one or two cards. You are most welcome to invite a friend. Lots of games to participate in and things to be won on the day.'

Here are the details of my event:
1/55 Elizabeth Street, WOODSIDE SA 5244
When: 17/10/2009 2:00PM - 6:00PM

Here is the link to my page adveristing this event: http://sa.cancercouncilfundraising.org.au/personalPage.aspx?SID=160461&HID=D62D5688DE8400BB6E757B40B86C1EC0
You will also have the option to donate to my Girls Night In online. It's a great opportunity to help fund research and support for women with cancer and it will help make my Girls Night In a big success.

If you are interested in hosting your own Girls Night In, go to http://www.girlsnightin.com.au/.

I hope you can support me in some small way, by leaving a comment and giving me encouragement or by donating a selection of your cards or goodies.

Cuddling a Diamond Python...

Hi there everyone, sorry I have not posted anything for a few weeks now, as I have been really busy socially over the weekends so have not had the time to do any stamping.

I just thought I'd show you all a photo from Sunday when I attended the South Australian Museum which I have not been too since I was in Primary School and I am now 37! They had a Science Week Display and had different activities to participate in ... including cuddling a diamond python.

UStamp Double Boxed Gift Basket

All the projects have been posted on UStamp now as it was the final day yesterday, but I have so many more projects to create. I made Makeesha Byl's Double Boxed Gift Basket this afternoon.
I really recommend UStamp with Dawn and Friends the next one starts in early September for the bargain cost of only $19.99 US$ (about $25 AUS$) as I have had the best time and have met so many lovely ladies all over the world.
