CASE-ing the Catty Pretty Pocket Card Kit - #CTC119

Hello, and welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty #CTC119 and we are featuring the Sale-A-Bration promotion again this week (pages 16 to 19).

You maybe starting here so welcome or you may have come from Rebecca Scurr.

This week I have decided to use the Pretty Pocket Card Kit which is amazing on it's own but I was inspired by the Stampin' Up! Creative Designers to step it up.  Below is the kit and what it includes to make 8 cards with envelopes.

Stampin' Up! Pretty Pocket Card Kit, Swirly Bird, Sale-A-Bration created by Kathryn MangelsdorfI have taken the Swirly Bird stamp set and used different size swells and then fussy cut them out and then layered them onto a quarter of a doilie with lots of dimensions to create many layers and depth.

For the leaves I used the Pear Pizzazz cardstock and Old Olive ink with the striped "boat sail" stamp to create a textured look.

Stamp Set:  Swirly Bird, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink:  So Saffron, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
Cardstock:  So Saffron, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper
Accessories:  Pretty Pocket Card Kit, Delicate White Doilies, Triple Banner Punch

On the back of the envelope I used the flower and leaves sticker
that would normally have been used in the insert.

For the insert I topped it with a piece of Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Now it's time to hop on over to Julia Quinn and her amazing case this week.
