Art with Heart Blog Hop - In Colors

Tonight the Art with Heart Team are sharing creative projects featuring In Colour theme.  Check out the new 2019-2021 In Colors and lets not forget the current 2018-2020 In Colors.

If you would like a copy of the Annual Catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.

I am featuring one of the new In Colours, Terracotta Tile which I have used on my card base and the top two gerberas and one of the existing In Colours Pineapple Punch for the lower one.

I made the gerberas using the new Medium Daisy Punch, punching out 5 daisies with 2 of the them cutting off the petals to make the centres, with my bone folder I curled up the edges to give them a three dimensional look.  I then punched out a little circle of Early Espresso to finish off the flowers.

I have added some texture to the edges of the Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla layers with just using my scissors along the edges.

Stamp Set:  Daisy Lane
Cardstock:  Terracotta Tile, Pineapple Punch, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Ink:  Mossy Meadow
Accessories:  Medium Daisy Punch, Linen Thread, 1/2" Circle Punch

Close up of the gerberas, made with the Medium Daisy Punch.

CASEing the Catty Good Morning Magnolia - #CTC233

I held my Card Class yesterday which was my launch of the new Annual Catalogue and to introduce the amazing products to my lovely attendees I could not go past making a card with the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty blog hop, you maybe starting here or you may have come from Julia Quinn.

This week we are CASEing a layout on page 36, and I think you may notice mine is very similar to the card in the centre.

I have used the blends in shades of blue and green to colour the huge magnolia which I had stamped in Memento and have mounted this onto a piece of vellum cardstock which I have stamped with Black Stazon with the bud and leaves from the same stamp set, and then shaded the leaves in with the blends to make them shine.

Finally I added a tag in Whisper White using the Stitched Rectangle Dies to give it further detail, and then added a cute twine bow.

Stamp Set:  Good Morning Magnolia
Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Vellum
Ink:  Jet Black Stazon, Memento,
Accessories:  Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight Blends, White and Silver Baker's Twine (retired)

Now it's time to hop on over to Kelly Kent.

Colour INKspiration Free as a Bird - #CI57

It was great to have a long weekend as I got to spend time in my craft room creating for challenges and my upcoming card class on Saturday.

You maybe starting the Colour Inkspirations Challenges blog hop here, so welcome or you may have come from Kim Badelt.

This week I have chosen the ever popular Free as a Bird stamp set, which I was lucky to receive as part of my preorder.

I stamped the birds on a branch in Momento Black and then used my sponger daubers in the three featured colours - Lovely Lipstick, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.  I then mounted it on a piece of Very Vanilla and Lovely Lipstick and put it on a Very Vanilla Note Card.

Stamp Set:  Free as a Bird
Cardstock:  Very Vanilla, Lovely Lipstick
Ink:  Momento, Lovely Lipstick, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green

It's now time to hop on over to my friend, Rachel Palmieri.

There is a new Colour Challenge every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), and a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Colour INKspiration Facebook Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.

CASEing the Catty Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper - #CTC232

Welcome to the NEW Annual Catalogue, wow it's finally here and I am finally creating with the new exciting products.

Welcome to the CASEing the Catty blog hop, you maybe starting here or you may have come from Tina Gillespie and she never disappoints.

This week we are featuring the Artistic Expressions section in the catty and wow you have pages 106 through to 159 for inspiration to choose from.

I decided I wanted to showcase the Mosaic Moods Specialty Designer Series Paper and the gift box below and what better that teaming it up with the Butterfly Gala stamp set and matching Butterfly Duet Punch to create a card.

I find it so easy to choose the matching colours as I just use all the colours featured in the papers.  I did not have any Mint Macaron ribbon so I used my all time favourite Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon and does that make the new Stitched Nested Labels Dies just pop!

Stamp Set:  Butterfly Gala
Cardstock:  Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla, Mosaic Moods Speciality Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Soft Suede
Accessories:  Butterfly Duet Punch, Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Gold 5/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon

great for sentiments and framing.

Now it is time to hop on over to Michelle Strazds to see what she had made this week.
