CASEing the Catty - #CTC582 Case a Scrapbook Layout

This week at Caseing the Catty we are caseing a scrapbook layout.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Peta Stephen.

I have been busy making the Extraordinary Life Scrapbooking Workshop Kit to give to a friend of mine to add to her Wedding Album that I gave to her back in May.

It is an exact copy of the kit with only a couple of extra stickers and precut images added that was left over.  If you are just starting out these kits are fantastic as you don't need to have any additional supplies only some adhesive.

Thanks for stopping by this week and now it's time to see what Julia Quinn has created.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC581 Case Velvet Meadow Suite

This week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the Velvet Meadow Suite which is on pages 32 and 33 of the May to August Catalogue.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Julia Quinn.

What a beautiful suite this is and I love the Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper which I could not go past using again.

I have completed a direct case from the sample in the catalogue with a few differences.  I don't have the banner dies, so I just used my scissors to create the bottom feature of the banner.

I also used the upcoming Notes of Collage Bundles for the foliage in Peaceful Pine, this set will be released in November in the Online Exclusives.  I stamped a little floral image in Basic Beige from the Fern & Floral stamp set and the sentiment in Berry Burst comes from the Lilly of the Valley.

Finally I added some white flower embellishments from the packet of Hues of Blues Flowers which I coloured some with a Berry Burst Blend.

Stamp Set:  Notes of College, Lily of the Valley, Fern & Flora
Cardstock:  Bubble Bath, Basic White, Velvet Meadows Specialty Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Peaceful Pine, Berry Burst
Accessories:  Cut and Emboss Machine, Notes of Collage Dies, Hues of Blue Flowers
