CASEing the Catty - #CTC467 Case your Favourite Annual Catalogue Project

It's the last week of the Annual Catalogue and the CASEing the Catty Crew are featuring our favourite Annual Catalogue project.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Julia Quinn.

Do you have a stash of Designer Series Paper?  I definitely don't get to use all the papers I purchase before they retire.  I am CASEing the Masterfully Made Suite Collection on page 102.
I love the bright colours of the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper which I mounted a piece over a piece of So Saffron cardstock.  I then layered some die cut leaves from the Artistic Dies in Azure Afternoon, a piece of ribbon and then added strip of Azure Afternoon cardstock which I stamped the sentiment and then just ripped the ends to give a little texture.  Finally I added some gems and it was finished a quick and easy card made so easy with the textures of the DSP.

Stamp Set:  Artistically Ink
Cardstock:  Azure Afternoon
Ink:  Azure Afternoon
Accessories:  Cut and Emboss Machine, Artistic Dies, Lemon Lime Twist Tinsel Gems, Misty Moonlight 3/8" Ribbon

CASEing the Catty - #CTC466 Case Your Favourite Mini Catalogue Project Perennial Lavender Suite

This week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring our favourite project from the Mini Catalogue and I could not go past the Perennial Lavender Suite Collection.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Tina Gillespie, who unfortunately will be leaving the Crew after this week.  As Tina lives also in Adelaide we still will be able to catch up for a coffee and create together.

My card that I have cased today is featured on page 22 in the Mini Catalogue.

I have used a Thick Very Vanilla card base and added a strip of Gorgeous Grape cardstock down the left hand side and added a beautiful piece of the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper.

Two rectangles were cut out in Crumb Cake and Velum using the Perennial Postage Dies and I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape onto the Crumb Cake one to the right hand side.

On Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the lavender in Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Shaded Spruce and used the matching dies from Painted Lavender to cut them out.

I glued the vellum down and then added the ribbon and then with dimensionals added the Crumb Cake rectangle and then the 2 lavender flowers and finally five of the matching Purple Fine Shimmer Gems in Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

Stamp Set:  Painted Lavender, Perennial Postage

CASEing the Catty - #CTC465 Caseing your Favourite Retiring Punch Decorative Circle

There are only a couple more weeks and we will be featuring the new Annual Catalogue but this week we are caseing your favourite retiring punch.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Julia Quinn.

I am featuring the retiring Decorative Circle Punch and am caseing the card from the Mini Catalogue on page 36.

I am using the Thoughtful Expressions and Biggest Wish stamp sets instead of the Love This Moment set that was featured in the catalogue.

The colours are the same as the card, starting with a Pool Party cardstock base layered with a piece of Pool Party cardstock that I have stamp the same ink colour with the flower image.

Again with Pool Party I have used the blending brushes to colour 3 strips of the black and white Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper.  With White Baker's Twine I wrapped this around the cardstock twice and tided a large bow.

`I then stamped the largest flower in Black Memento on Basic White and used Pool Party, Pretty Peacock and Granny Apple Green blends to colour in the image and then fussy cut out.

Stamp the Happy sentiment from Biggest Wish in Melon Mambo and Punch out with the Decorative Circle.  Finally with a little strip of Pretty Peacock I white embossed the Birthday from Sending Smiles stamp set and then added a couple of Melon Mambo Glossy Dots.

Stamp Set:  Thoughtful Expressions, Biggest Wish, Sending Smiles
Cardstock:  Pool Party, Basic White, Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Pool Party, Melon Mambo, Black Memento, Pretty Peacock, Granny Apple Green, VersaMark
Accessories:   Decorative Circle Punch, White Baker's Twine, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Melon Mambo Glossy Dot

AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop #48 - Starry Sky Two-Tone Flora

The Art with Heart Team Colour Creations Blog Hop this week are featuring one of the retiring in colors - Starry Sky, which is a blue/purple.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Amy McIlroy.

Today, I am featuring stamp sets that also will be retiring at the end of the month to create my card, the Two-Tone Flora Bundle, Rays of Light and Artistically Ink.

I have used a piece of Basic White cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder with the background stamp Rays of Light and then added Starry Sky ink with the blending brushes to give it a light shade and mounted this onto a piece of Starry Sky cardstock.

To create the centrepiece of my card I used the Two-Tone Flora stamp set and matching Dies in Starry Sky and Calypso Coral for the flowers (to create the two tone effect I stamped off for the light shade) and Mossy Meadow and Old Olive for the leaves.

Finally adding my favourite sentiment from Artistically Ink, which I am really going to miss and some Pebbed Path Dots and a double bow in White Baker's Twine.

Stamp Set:  Two-Tone Flora, Rays of Light, Artistically Ink
Cardstock:  Starry Sky, Basic White
Ink:  Starry Sky, Calypso Coral, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, VersaMark
Accessories:  Cut and Emboss Machine, Two-Tone Dies, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Pebbed Path Dots, White Baker's Twine

CASEing the Catty - #CTC464 Caseing a Retiring Bundle Bottled Happiness

This week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the Retiring Bundles from either the Annual Catalogue or the Mini Catalogue.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Monique Fielder.

I have chosen the Bottled Happiness stamp set and the coordinating Vintage Bottle Punch on page 98 Annual Catalogue.

The inspiration for my card came from the left hand side of the card which I turned it into a shaker card with the retiring in colors.

I stamped three of the wine bottles in Parakeet Party, creating the shades of colour by stamping off and then used a mask to create depth of field and then stamped the label on top with Lemon Lolly.

I then ripped a piece of scrap paper to make an area where I used Sweet Sorbet with a blending brush to create the splash of red wine with a highlight stamp from Brewed For You stamp set for some air bubbles.

Stamp Set:  Bottle Happiness, Brewed For You
Cardstock:  Tahitian Tide, Basic White
Ink:  Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Lemon Lolly
Accessories:  Cut and Emboss Machine, Rectangle Dies (retired), From My Heart Faceted Gems (retired)
