You may have come from Rachel Palmieri and don't you just love her creative inspiration this week.
I made a 3 3/4" square card (so you can make 3 cards out of 1 piece of A4 Thick Whisper White cardstock) and then I had to make a matching gift box.
I have used the Kraft Extra-Large Gift Boxes which are on the Clearance Rack at a fantastic price of $2.79 (reduced from $6.95) for 3 gift boxes which I have filled with Easter Egg.
I have used a sponge dauber to colour my cute little chicken, starting with Daffodil Delight and then highlighted with Delightful Dijon on the edges. To colour the beak and feet I used my trusty Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker.
The Honeycomb Embellishments come in Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron and White but I wanted a yellow tummy. I used a Stampin' Spritzer with some water, then I spritzed the Honeycomb Embellishment and then used my Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker to colour it in as I did not have a reinker to fill up my Stampin' Spritzer with colour.

ReplyDeleteAdorable little chicks, Kathryn, love the way you have coloured them with daubers instead of watercolouring! Fabulous gift set. :)

ReplyDeletethat is such a super cute set, I wasn't going to get that set but maybe now I need it for Easter? Great work colouring with the pen on the wet tissue, rather than the reinker mist, I love learning all these tips from all the CTC team, thanks for sharing
