CASE-ing the Catty Frosted Medallions - CTC99

I hosted a team evening last Saturday and we made tags inspired by the Holiday Catalogue to coincide with this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop.

You may be starting here, so welcome or you may have come from Deb Speijers and her tag this week.

I was lucky enough to use Andrea's from my small Stampin' Up! team Frosted Medallions stamp set and she even had the oh so cute Christmas Trinkets Embellishments.

I started with a piece of Pool Party cardstock and stamped the Brushstrokes background stamp on an angle with Pool Party ink.  I then White embossed a piece of vellum cardstock with the image from Frosted Medallions and then stamped the centrepiece on Whisper White cardstock with Pool Party ink and cut out with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch.  I then layered both pieced of cardstock together and attached it to my champagne bottle which was wrapped in the new cellophane bags and then decorated with the beautiful Silver Glitter ribbon and Christmas Trinket Bells.

Stamp Set:  Frosted Medallions, Here's to Cheers, Brushstrokes
Cardstock:  Pool Party, Vellum, Whisper White
Ink:  VersaMark, Pool Party
Accessories:  Christmas Trinkets Embellishments, 6" x 17" Gusseted Cellophane Bags, Silver 3/8" Glitter Ribbon, White Stampin' Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine

  3. Stunning gift tag Kathryn, love the subtle touches of the brush strokes on the layer underneath to add some interest. The white embossing on the vellum is really beautiful. Does the ribbon tie the tag around the neck of the bottle? I was wondering if there was too much bulk in the cello bag when tied but it doesn't seem to make your tag stand out too far. Love, love, love it!

    1. Thanks for your lovely words. Definitely not too much bulk with the cellophane bag as it tied in nicely.
