Christmas Message ... Every Blessing

I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas on this Christmas Day.

It's been a busy day of cooking the turkey and all the vegetables on a very hot 37 degrees day here in the Adelaide Hills, but turning on the air conditioner you would never have known it was that hot outside.  After many courses of food and snacks in between we are so blessed to have so much in our lives and also to spend quality time with my family.

I would like to share a card which is a beautiful image that is beautifully described in the following verse,  Luke 2: 8-14
There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.  An Angel of the Lord appeared to them ant the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid.  I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you: he is the Messiah, the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."  Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest heaven and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests."

  1. What a beautiful card, Kathryn. So very blessed to receive one just like this in the mail this week. How very thoughtful. So glad you had a wonderful Christmas day. Too late to wish you a merry Christmas so I will wish you a Happy New Year for 2016. Hope to get to another SU event next year if I can. Looking forward to catching up.
