This week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the Floral Delight Suite in the Mini Catalogue from pages 33 to 37.
Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Rochelle Laird-Smith.
I have completed two cards for this Challenge my first one is mostly a direct case from the Mini Catalogue on page 33 with the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper with lots of fussy cutting of the flowers and leaves.
My second card uses Blue tones and features the upcoming Online Exclusive Thankful Garden Bundle, which has a stamp set, dies and decorative masks.
I started with a Boho Blue card base which I stamped in Boho Blue one of the two step flower stamps and layered this with a piece of the Pecan Pie textured paper from the Floral Delight DSP which I had cut out some flower dies in two corners.
It was then time to get out the decorative masks and used Boho Blue and Old Olive to create the flowers and leaves. I then fussy cut out the flowers and leaves as I currently don't have the dies, (I reduced the size of the hydrangea to fit in the right hand side).
Finally, I did some die cutting of the sentiments with cardstock and with the beautiful Floral Vellum. The "happy birthday" sentiment is white embossed and I reduced the size by putting the cardstock through the die twice.
It was then just layering these on top of a piece of ribbon and then I added a little petal from the hydrangea which was left over from the larger one (and I also added a couple more to inside the card).
Stamp Set: Delightful Wishes
Cardstock: Boho Blue, (Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight), Old Olive (Pecan Pie), Basic White, Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, Floral & Gingham Vellum
Ink: Boho Blue, Old Olive, VersaMark
Accessories: Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Thankful Garden Decorative Masks, Delightful Wishes Dies, Ribbon (retired)
