CASEing the Catty Dashing Deer - #CTC239

This week at CASEing the Catty we are using a template and change the theme from page 103 from the Annual Catalogue.

You maybe starting the blog hop here, so welcome or you may have come from Lauren Meiklejohn.

I have chosen the below template for my card this week with a quick and easy colour palate of Sahara Sand and Gold to create a Christmas card as I have started my 100+ cards during Christmas in July celebrations.

I did not have any matching designer series paper, so I made my own background strips but stamping the image all the way down the piece of Sahara Sand cardstock.

As the deers were facing the different direction than the ducks I decided to put the sentiment and bow on the opposite site for balance.

Stamp Set:  Dashing Deer
Ink:  Sahara Sand
Cardstock:  Sahara Sand, Gold, Very Vanilla
Accessories:  Twine

Now it's time to hop on over to Monique Fielder.

  2. Oh wow! I love this! Great case. I love how you created a lovely Christmas card using this layout and it’s a beautiful colour combo that I wouldn’t have necessarily put together myself for a Christmas card.

  3. Fabulous CASE, Kathryn. The pop of gold is just gorgeous. This layout works so well for a classy Christmas card like this. I admire you for making more than 100(!!) Christmas cards, that’s a solid effort and I’m sure each recipient treasures their handmade beauty.

  5. This is a clever CASE of the ducks-in-a-row card, and sophisticated too in this colourway.
