CASEing the Catty Animal Outing - #CTC183

This week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the Animal Expedition Section from page 26 to 37.

You maybe starting here so welcome or you could have come from Angela Meiritz-Reid.

It's Sunday night and I have only 30 minutes ago said goodbye to my Card Class ladies, who  enjoy using lots of new products from the Annual Catalogue, and I could not go passed the cute animals from the Animal Outing stamp sets.

I decided to use the card to the left for my inspiration but stamped the kangaroo and koala as my centrepoint in Early Espresso and then used the watercolour pencils and my Aqua Painter to colour them.  I masked the kangaroo and then added the grasses in Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green and layered it onto a circle of Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight Double-Stitched Ribbon.

Stamp Set:  Animal Outing, Healing Hugs
Cardstock:  Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz
Ink:  Early Espresso,  Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight
Accessories:  Watercolour Pencils, Aqua Painter, Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Polka Pot Basics Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Layering Circles Framelits

It's now time to hop to Monique Fielder.

  2. Love this! That little pair may be my favourite new friends in the whole catalogue. You've coloured them perfectly and I love the extra grass etc.
