Heavy Rains in the Adelaide Hills

I had a lovely brunch with a friend at Kelsey's Cottage at Oakbank this morning and whilst coming home I took a couple of photos of the Onkaparinga River in full flow (well not quiet as it has not rained for a good 12 hours). The last couple of days we have had lots of rain here in the Adelaide Hills which is great for filling up the reservoirs.

It would have been nice to take some photos 24 hours before as the river would have been at least 1 metre over the little ford on Walters Road as there were leaves and sticks right back where I parked my car.

  1. Hi Kathryn! I wish you could come visit ... you would love the little causeway at the end of our road. It is so pretty! And ... most times during the year ... the water flows over it. Hugs Andreaxx
