Stampin' Addiction Back to Basic Challenge

I have participated in Stampin' Addiction's Back to Basic Challenge, here is her example that we needed to use as a guide with a few limitations. (Use at least 3 Stampin' Up products, they may be cardstock, ink and sticky strip, use any 2 colours and 1 neutral - be it cardstock, ink or both, the design is open to your interpretation.)

The first card below is a copy of her example with some colour changes, and the second one is my entry.

Stamp Set: Petal Prints, Warmest Regards
Ink: Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink
Card: Whisper White, Pale Blue, Pale Pink
Stamp Set: Baroque Motifs
Ink: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou
Card: Whisper White, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou
Accessories: Soft Sky Double Stitched Ribbon, Label Holder

  1. Wow Kathryn this card looks so great. Great effort again.

  2. wow, you have given me some ideas for that stamp set i have now. That card is lovely.

  3. Today’s card just “happened.” That is how most of my cards come about. I start with something – a stamp, a piece of paper, a punched item – and build from there. (Yesterday’s card was the complete opposite – I “designed” that card in my head completely before doing any of it.) It's a bright and cheery card for a wonderfully bright and cheery day.
