You only have a couple more weeks of purchasing from the Mini Catalogue and some products are already on the Last Chance List and this week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the whole September to December Mini Catalogue.
Welcome to the last blog hop of the year or you may have come from Julia Quinn.
I have chosen to case Stampin' Up!'s Making a Difference stamp set Love & Courage which $4.25 from each purchase is being donated to a breast cancer organisation.
This set really touches my heart as I have lost both my mother and sister to breast cancer and I support these charities with a lot of passion.
I have chosen to create my background for this card by inking up the reverse side to the Sunflowers 3D Textured Embossing Folder in Pretty in Pink. I tapped the ink pad all over the embossing folder and then put a piece of Basic White cardstock on top and then put it through the Cut 'n Emboss Machine.
Place the background onto a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock, cut out a circle in Pretty in Pink and a half circle in Strawberry Slush. Then stamp in Strawberry Slush onto Pretty in Pink cardstock the half flower twice and fussy cut, one around the edge and the second choose some of the small petals, then with your bone folder curl up the petals a little to give further depth.
Finally, glue the Strawberry Slush half circle to the Pretty in Pink circle and the two layers of the flower and the stamp the sentiment, fixing a little piece of Pretty in Pink ribbon to the back before adding the centrepiece to your cardstock with dimensionals. Lastly I added some pink sequins that I had from my stash.
