CASEing the Catty Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper - #CTC232

Welcome to the NEW Annual Catalogue, wow it's finally here and I am finally creating with the new exciting products.

Welcome to the CASEing the Catty blog hop, you maybe starting here or you may have come from Tina Gillespie and she never disappoints.

This week we are featuring the Artistic Expressions section in the catty and wow you have pages 106 through to 159 for inspiration to choose from.

I decided I wanted to showcase the Mosaic Moods Specialty Designer Series Paper and the gift box below and what better that teaming it up with the Butterfly Gala stamp set and matching Butterfly Duet Punch to create a card.

I find it so easy to choose the matching colours as I just use all the colours featured in the papers.  I did not have any Mint Macaron ribbon so I used my all time favourite Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon and does that make the new Stitched Nested Labels Dies just pop!

Stamp Set:  Butterfly Gala
Cardstock:  Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla, Mosaic Moods Speciality Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Soft Suede
Accessories:  Butterfly Duet Punch, Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Gold 5/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon

Close up of the butterflies and the new Stitched Nested Label Dies,
great for sentiments and framing.

Now it is time to hop on over to Michelle Strazds to see what she had made this week.

Are you inspired by the CASEing the Catty Crew why not participate in the CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge by uploading a card or project to the facebook page.

  1. I love your version more than the original!!

  2. Beautiful card, that DSP is stunning... Especially with the extra butterflies.

  3. Your card is so pretty, Kathryn! I love how you've turned a box into a card - so clever. Would you believe that I don't have any of that ribbon (yet!)?

  4. I love your CASE! The butterflies look lovely against the mosaic DSP, and that sentiment is one of my favourites.

  5. Gorgeous card Kathryn and great CASE x

  6. Beautiful card Kathryn, the gold edged ribbon really does make the sentiment pop.

  7. Wow, this is amazing. Love the gold embossing on the butterflies and the ribbon - swoon. Great card!!

  8. I hadn't even noticed that DSP has butterflies in it! Love how well they go together. Such a pretty colour palette. I love the changes you've made to the original card, I agree yours is even prettier :)
