Christmas Star Shaker Card and Matching Gift Box

I held my Christmas in July card class yesterday and we all made my Christmas Star shaker card and as I still had all the supplies out on the table, I decided I would make a matching box to participate in the Case-ing the Catty Challenge #1 - Gift and Packaging and the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #117 Sequins.  I love Christmas time and it's so nice to get an early start in all the cards and goodies I make for family and friends.

Stamp Set: Be the Star, Petite Pairs
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack (available in the clearance rack ($11.95 reduced to $4.79)
Ink: Old Olive, Baked Brown Sugar
Accessories: Star Framelits, Gold Sequin Trim, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, 1/2" Circle Punch, Cellophane Bag, Kraft Gift Box

This was my inspiration for the gift box
which is featured on page 10 of the Annual Catalogue.

My lovely Christmas Star Shaker Gift Box

Have a look inside the box,
I used the star that I cut out of the lid and layered it onto a piece of cherry cobbler card stock.
