Stamp With Gina - April Challenge

Today I decided to participate in Stamp with Gina's April Challenge which was a sketch challenge and a colour challenge - Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa and Whisper White (she does make it a bigger challenge than most). I decided to use the now retired stamp set but I only purchased it as part of the Victorian Bushfire Appeal so I will be using it alot in the future as it's my favourite at the moment. I also tried some of the Stampin' Chunky Sprinkles Glitter on this card, can anyone out there in blog world help me in regard to applying this glitter as I used my 2-Way Glue Pen and I think if I place it in an envelope it will brush off.

Stamp Set: Bodacious Bouquet, Short and Sweet
Ink: Pretty and Pink, Chocolate Chip
Card: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Pretty in Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Light Pink Chunky Sprinkles Glitter, Small Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Edge Punch

  1. Kathryn this card is just beautiful..I love those colours together. Bodacious Bouquet is a favourite of mine too and even though it's retired now I could never get rid of it...I just love it way too much...LOL.
You are right about your 2 way glue pen not being up to the job of holding on that chunky glitter! It's great for Dazzling Diamonds, but for the chunky glitter you definitely need some Tombow Multi purpose glue (pg 154 in the new catalogue, just above the 2 way glue pen!). You want to be fairly generous adding it onto your cardstock and then sprinkle plenty of glitter over the top and press down gently with your finger...then just tap the excess off and back into its container. It dries pretty quickly too, which is an added bonus :) Hope you find that works better for you...that chunky glitter is just awesome and I'd hate for you not to use it because you were worried about it coming off...if you use the Tombow it will survive being mailed very well.
