CASEing the Catty - #CTC508 Case Sale-A-Bration

We are in the last few days of the Sale-A-Bration promotion and this week at CASEing the Catty we are again featuring the brochure.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Monique Fielder.

Today, I have CASEd the box on page 15 of the brochure.  I have turned the box into card and have made two colour combinations one being a direct CASE and one that I have used pink tones.

I started with an Old Olive card base and layered this with the Timber 3D Textured Embossing piece and put some of the Boho Blue Jute Trim around. I have separated the trim by unraveling it to create three thin pieces.

Then it was time to cut out the two banners in Basic White and Boho Blue and stamping the floral image with Black Momento on the Basic White banner and some further images on scraps of Basic White.  I then used my collection of pencils to colour in the images and fussy cut them out.  It was then time to place both the banners down with dimensionals and tucked the extra flowers behind them, finally adding the crumb cake circle sentiment and the Boho Blue bow.

I then decide to create the pink tone version using Moody Mauve cardstock and Pebbled Path features.

Stamp Set:  Corner in Bloom, Sketched Butterflies
Cardstock:  Old Olive, Boho Blue (Moody Mauve, Pebbled Path), Crumb Cake, Basic White
Ink:  Black Momento, Colour Pencils
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Birthday Celebration Die, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Timber 3D Textured Embossing Folder, Boho Blue (Peddled Path) Jute Trim

CASEing the Catty - #CTC507 Case a Bundle from the Annual Catalogue

This week we are back featuring the Annual Catalogue and the bundles.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Julia Quinn.

I have inked up for the first time the Loveliest Tree stamp set and dies which are featured on page 71 of the Annual Catalogue.

I have started with a Thick Basic White card base and then and then I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock which I used my blending brushes in Lemon Lime Twist and Old Olive.

To create the ground I ripped a piece of paper and used this as a mask and added Mossy Meadow ink with the blending brush again.

I then die cut the leaves in Garden Green and the branches and trunk of the trees in Pecan Pie, finally added the sentiment in Black Memento.

Stamp Set:  Loveliest Tree
Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Garden Green, Pecan Pie, Basic White
Ink:  Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow
Accessories: Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Loveliest Tree Dies

CASEing the Catty - #CTC505 Case Sale-A-Bration

Wow, where did January go?  We are in the last month of the Sale-A-Bration promotion and this week at CASEing the Catty we are featuring the brochure.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Rochelle Blok.

I have chosen a card on page 15, featuring the Corner in Bloom stamp set which is your FREE gift with a spend of $200 of Stampin' Up! product of your choice.

I started with a Wild Wheat cardbase and used the tone on tone ink of Wild Wheat but I stamped it off for a lighter shade and then wrapped around some White Baker's Twine and added a large bow on the right hand side.

With Black Memento ink I stamped the corner flower images in a diagonal pattern so it would form at frame, then I then took out my watercolour pencils in Old Olive and White and coloured in the flowers and leaves.

Finally adding a white heat embossed sentiment from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set (which is in the last chance $14 reduced from $35) and then layered this onto a piece Mossy Meadow cardstock which I raised up with dimensionals.

Stamp Set:  Corner in Bloom, Heartfelt Hexagon
Cardstock:  Wild Wheat, Mossy Meadow
Ink:  Versamark, Black Memento, Old Olive & White Watercolour Pencils
Accessories:  Heat Tool, White Basics Wow! Embossing Powder, White Baker's Twine
