CASEing the Catty - #CTC468 Case the NEW Annual Catalogue

Tonight we are welcoming four new design team members, it's wonderful to have one of my direct team members and beautiful friend Andrea Sargent, Rochelle Laird-Smith, Courtney Houston and Rochelle Bock to the CASEing the Catty Crew and I look forward to their inspiration.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Rochelle Blok.

It's also exciting to showcase the new Annual Catalogue and this week you have the whole catalogue to case and that's a lot of beautiful artworks.

I have chosen to case the Leaf Collection background card featured on page 91, this stamp set was given to all the demonstrators at OnStage in Melbourne but it had not seen any ink until this card.

My card is very similar to the one in the catalogue, I have just chosen three colours Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Basic Beige.

I started by using the new neutral colour of Basic Beige as my card base and then stamped the Leaf Collection background stamp once in each of the three colours onto Basic White cardstock and did some fussy cutting.

On a piece of Basic Beige cardstock I then added my sentiment from Layering Leaves in Pretty Peacock which was cut out using one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies.

It was then fun filling in all the gaps around the sentiment with the leaves in the different shades trying to get a good selection of designs and for the colours to be spread evenly on the card.  The leaves are all attached with dimensionals and then I filled in the smaller gaps with gems.

Stamp Set:  Leaf Collection, Layering Leaves
Cardstock:  Basic Beige, Basic White
Ink:  Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock, Basic Beige
Accessories:  Cut and Emboss Machine, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Iridescent Foil Gems

.

Thanks for stopping by now it's time to see what Julia Quinn has created.

    1. Sorry I can not measure the card as I have already sent it off, but it is about a 1/4" small er than a DL size envelope.
