CASEing the Catty - #CTC492 Case an Annual Catalogue Bundle

It's time to turn our attention to the Annual Catalogue this week with the Bundles featured on pages 57 through to 73.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Rochelle Blok.

I have chosen a shaker card on page 72 which uses the Painter Lavender bundle which is similar to the Inspiring Snapdragons Bundle that has been used in the catalogue.

My card started with a Moody Mauve base cardstock and stamped some tone on tone tiny lavender flowers.  To create the window I used the Countryside Corner Dies which I was able to extend by putting the die in twice without cutting all the way through.

The shaker, I fixed a window sheet to the Basic White cardstock and put the dimensionals around the edge added the sequins and adhesivesome Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper behind to give a splash of textured colours.

Finally I added the sentiment and lavender flowers in Berry Burst and Moody Mauve and some Soft Sea Foam leaves.

Stamp Set:  Pained Lavender, Simply Said
Cardstock:  Moody Mauve, Basic White, Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Moody Mauve, Berry Burst
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Painted Lavender Dies, Countryside Corners Dies, Window Sheets, Sequins

CASEing the Catty - #CTC491 Case a Sketch

This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing a sketch from page 16 of the Mini Catalogue.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Peta Stephen.

I have decided to make a start my collect of Christmas tags and have chosen the sketch featured below.

I started with my favourite Frosted Forest Bundle from the Online Exclusives and used the smallest tree in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow and wow oh wow these Decorative Masks make it oh so easy.

My tag measures 2" x 3 1/2" and cut off the corners, then used a blending brush and added some Old Olive to Basic White cardstock, added a strip of Gold Foil and added the Christmas tree with dimensionals.  In Cherry Cobbler I stamped the sentiment and fussy cut it out.

Finally, I added another tag 1/4" larger than the featured tag from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper, punched out a tiny hole at the top through both layers and added some beautiful Gold Twisted Thread.

Stamp Set:  Greetings of the Season
Cardstock:  Basic White, Gold Foil, Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Frosted Forest Dies, Frosted Forest Decorative Masks, Gold Twisted Thread

The Designer Series Paper layer just swings behind the featured tag.

CASEing the Catty - #CTC490 Case the Reindeer Days Suite

In South Australia we started daylight saving here today so we are an hour later than usual.  This week we are CASEing the Reindeer Day Suite on page 26 of the Mini Catalogue.

Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Rebecca Scurr.

I have chosen the reindeer card on the bottom right hand side of page 26 to case.  I have used the layout as my guide.

I draw a pencil circle onto Very Vanilla cardstock and used the holly leaf stamp in Old Olive (my favourite green) from Hang an Ornament to create a wreath, adding the cherries from the matching die set.

Then, I layered the Very Vanilla square onto a slightly larger piece of Mossy Meadow and then onto the Soft Sea Foam cardbase.

Finally adding 2 die cut trees in Crumb Cake from the Online Exclusive Frosted Forest dies and adhered them to each side to replicate the card and added a Cherry Cobbler Merry and Christmas from the Peaceful Season stamp set and dies.

Stamp Set:  Hang an Ornament,
Cardstock:  Soft Sea Foam, Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler
Ink:  Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories:  Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Frosted Forest Dies, Peaceful Season Dies
